Wynn Las Vegas was opened in 2005 by Steve Wynn, a major player in the Las Vegas hotel industry, having previously owned the Bellagio, Mirage, and Treasure Island. Today, fountains burst from gold lilies outside, while the bronze crescent of the hotel glimmers from the swimming pools and waterside bar lights below. Nightclubs like the Wynn Social, with its writhing blue snake behind the bar, and the day-to-night glamor of the tiered Encore Beach Club (at sister hotel Encore) are renowned throughout the Strip, while corridors decked with hot-house flowers and glowing Oriental-style vases lead to out-of-this-world glass-roofed spa rooms. The Wynn Hotel even takes its specialty dining seriously, with extensive vegan options and eateries decked out with everything from Chinese dragons (Wing Lei) to life-size Frank Sinatra prints (Sinatra).

Neighborhood

Wynn Las Vegas is nestled between two classic Strip institutions-the mid-twentieth century Riviera and the 90s' Treasure Island, offering guests instant perspective on how the city has evolved from vintage casinos through to themed hotels. get together

the hotel was fine for meeting up with old friends and relaxing in the hotel. As an active person I found the fitness center had almost all the machines, free weights, and trainer if needed. it tended to get crowded at times. other activities tennis - lap pool - running area were not easily accessible. the hotel is probably not designed for active individuals. once out to Red Rock Canyon the climbing was great. A few hour drive to campout at Utah's Zion National Park, the best part of the trip.

there are numerous restaurants in the hotels along the strip where one can find a slew of cuisines - for a salad person it is expensive for what you get.

Usually great - Few Problems this time

We have been staying last few times at the Wynn. Stay for the great service. This time we went to celebrate my brothers 40th. There were a few issues that are being still dealt with by the hotel that we would rather not speak of but it altered our experience at the hotel forsure. TV didn't work in room and for the second time in a row I had to get an adjustment on charges to mini bar. That is disappointing when you rent a suite for the astronomical amount. Overall, I still love the location and the service, but my previous experiences were better forsure.

Unbelievable Experience

This hotel was worth the money. The gym is spectacular, it provides free water bottles, fruit, and towels. We ordered room service everyday because the food actually tasted great, though expensive. I will return to this hotel in the near future.

good hotel for adults,smokers.

I wanted to try new hotel to stay after staying at 'Four seasons' last visit.I was with my five year old.We stayed for three nightsI will go in detail from the start The check in was good and did not take very long. Some other times I saw long lines though. There is no body to help with luggage to your rooms,A BIG no no for five star hotel.Room was on 33rd floor with excellent view of the strip.Room was not ready when we walked in,food still on the table from previous guests. As room service was around,we called him and he cleaned it up quick.Room did not have coffee maker which is not convenient. Hotel has lot of options for dining and shopping which is great. It caters totally towards the adults as during three days of stay we saw no more then 8 kids in the hotel.Smoke is everywhere even in the pool area people smoke, you cannot escape second hand smoke in this hotel.Pool was nice and my daughter liked it.Casual dining restaurant by the poolside was not good.Chicken tenders were stale and other food was not up to par. Check out was very easy.
