From Gondolas to gourmands, a city of remarkable delights
With all-suite accommodations, an array of entertainment, and incredible dining and diversion, Venetian Las Vegas is a worthy destination all its own, even with the Strip just beyond the doors. A faithful homage to Europe's crown jewel that includes a quarter-mile Grand Canal complete with gondoliers, The Venetian is also far more than a theme resort. The list includes TAO Beach and Nightclub, Canyon Ranch SpaClub, Grand Canal Shoppes and Madame Tussauds. The Venetian also shares amenities and dining with the connected Palazzo resort.
Highlights
- The Venetian Las Vegas will come alive with the fantasy, food, fun and romance of Italy during Carnevale. This is a three-month celebration of Italy's summer festival from 27 May to 08 September 2013. Based on the highly successful premier in 2012, the festival will be expanded with new events and special new experiences exclusively for the guests.
- Gondola rides both inside and out on the quarter-mile Grand Canal replica
- The exclusive TAO Beach and Nightclub
- Star chef dining options from the likes of Mario Batali, Thomas Keller, Wolfgang Puck and more
- Gorgeous, private club-like poker room
Rooms
Redecorated, unique split-level Venetian Luxury suites start at 650 square feet with king size, pillow top beds and two 32" plasma screens, a full living area, mini-bar and motorized curtains over floor-to-ceiling windows. In true Venetian style, the luxury continues in large bathrooms featuring twin sinks, a separate tub and shower and Agraria bath products. Some Venetian suites include sofa sleepers. Several larger suites are available. Wi-Fi Internet access is included in the resort fee.
Features
Surrounded by replicas of the Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, the Campanile Tower, and St. Mark's Square, guests can't escape the romance of Venice at Venetian, nor do they want to. Where else can you get married on an exquisitely handcrafted wedding gondola? Along the Grand Canal, enjoy a serenade from a gondolier, catch the "streetmosphere" performers or shop the more than 80 international boutiques.More entertainment at Venetian Las Vegas includes the Broadway smash musical Rock of Ages and Australia's critically acclaimed quartet, Human Nature. The Venetian's 134,000-square-foot Ranch Spa – one of the biggest on the Strip – moves beyond the norm with an impressive fitness center, rock climbing wall and cafe. Prepare for more grand scale amenities at Venetian's 5-acre, year-round pool deck featuring three pools, a hot tub, plenty of chaises, and cocktail and food service (cabanas for a fee). Gaming at the opulent casino does not disappoint with handheld gaming devices, a refined poker room and large race and sports book lounge. Guests can also catch shows of Rita Rudner.
The Venetian Theatre welcomes country music superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Join the artists at their Soul2Soul shows in the intimate setting of The Venetian Theatre (formally The Phantom Theatre). Tickets go on sale Monday, August 13th, show dates range from December 2012 to April 2013.
Dining
The Venetian's solid list of dining options leads with Thomas Keller's Bouchon, Mario Batali's B&B Ristorante, Wolfgang Puck's Postrio, Tom Maloney's Aquaknox, Emeril Lagasse's Delmonico Steakhouse and Piero Selvaggio's Valentino, as well as many Asian options. For breakfast or weekend brunch, don't miss the Grand Luxe Cafe. Guests also find an above-average food court with eateries like Nathan's, Johnny Rockets and Canonita Express.

Great Babymoon
My husband and I had never been to Las Vegas before, and decided to go before we had our first child. I went 4 months pregnant and had a great time. The bed was unbelievably comfy, and the tub was great. I used the Canyon Ranch Spa for a pedicure and had a wonderfully relaxing time. We also dined at Bouchon and had a wonderful dinner. Although we walked around Vegas, the Venetian had it all! It was a great getaway without the drinks and clubbing for which Vegas is commonly known. We think we would like to comeback to the Venetian and stay as a family on our next vacation.

Great Romantic Getaway
All rooms at the Venetian are suites so very much appreciated the extra room. There was a TV in the living area, in the bedroom area & also in the bathroom. The kingsize bed was very comfortable, not too hard. Didn't like the feather pillows though & should have requested different ones. The bathroom was great, heaps of room, nice full bath. The water in the shower was not very forceful though, but nothing to complain about. With so many rooms in the Venetian I was worried about waiting time for an elevator, but because they had broken up the room numbers to different elevator directions there was no problem at all. You did have to drag your bags a long way from the reception, through the gambling area to the elevator area, but I think you could have requested help with this, though I never saw anyone doing so. The only thing I didn't appreciate was having to pay additional charges for the internet service, which added up every 24 hrs.

Short walk from hotel
As the Venetian is in the middle of the Strip, it is close to just about everything - other hotels, entertainment, shopping etc. Great taxi service just out the front of the hotel too, if the walk was a bit too far.

TOP NOTCH
THE VENETIAN WAS UNBELIEVABLY CLASSY, THE SERVICE WAS IMPECCABLE, THE ROOMS WERE ELEGANTLY DECORATED AND TASEFULLY FURNISHED; THEY FORGOT NOTHING IN DESIGNING THIS HOTEL.

Family Friendly
The Venetian was wonderful. The view, the room, and the staff were perfect. It was family friendly, had many options in restaurants, and it is right on the strip. Just be prepared to walk, this property is huge (as most properties in Vegas). We will return to the Venetian.

You can shop at the mall inside the Venetian, the mall at the The Wynn(next door) or the Fashion Show mall across the street. There is no shortage in stores in Vegas and all close.

Beautiful Room and Great Location
The hotel is magnificent and our suite was just lovely and luxurious - more than we expected. I wish I had that bathroom at home -it was a dream. The room was clean and we had a great view of the strip. The location is great as well - you can walk everywhere. My only complaint was the fragrance they pump in to the lobby and casino - I had a hard time with it and each time I entered the hotel I had to cover my nose and mouth because to me the smell was so strong.I think they would do better with another type of air filtration system and not use the scent. I was a little underwhelmed by the staff. We had VIP check in, but the hotel representative was very tentative and didn't offer us any information until we asked how we would find our room and then she offered a map. She didn't play up any of the perks of being a VIP or go beyond the routine of giving us our keys. We had good experiences with conceirge service at the Venezia since we wanted to book a trip to the Grand Canyon after 9:00 pm when the Venetian conceirge desk closes. I also had a great experience prior to arrival with the Venetian conceirge service arranging car service to and fro the hotel. We were disappointed in the Mexican restaurant in the Palazzo (even though it was recommended by the conceirge). We were seated at 9 pm when they were slow, but we never got served. We waited 20 minutes while servers passed us by, never looking at us - so we got up and left. And as we left someone had the nerve to say that he hoped we enjoyed our meal. It seemed totally disorganized. At that point it was late and we settled for the fast food noodle place in the Venetian and the food and service were very good.
