substandard mattress

Very disappointed with the couch rollaway mattress. Despite the fact a mattress cover was placed over the mattress it was very uncomfortable and sank in the middle. You could feel the springs popping through it. Also disappointed that the coffee shop wasn't open any earlier than 6 am. I am an early riser and with no coffee service pot in the room it was a bit frustrating to have to walk down to the street to find coffee, I have had better service and a more comfortable rest on a rollaway mattress at a lower starred hotel

Lovely Spot

It was delightful to stay in a Las Vegas smoke free hotel that smelled fresh and clean. The crisp efficiency of the staff was appreciated as well as other amenities in this first rate hotel. A negative is the location of this property because it is tucked around the corner of the Bellagio and there is not a direct route to the strip. That meant extra walking. Another issue was when we checked out and were told we needed to pay an extra $25 resort fee per day. The swimming pool was not in use and basically we felt this fee was excessive.

Georgous place but bad location from clubs and freeway

This is a great place loved the fact that it had no casino and no smoking. The rooms are gorgeous and large. Not sure I'll being staying here again it's so loud from traffic noise and the fire station being close by. Also the cosmo's club is close by and all we heard was musin and the DJ until 3 am. They did move us trying to help but it just made us closer to the fire station which in Vegas goes out a lot

Could be better.....

Was very turned off by the front desk staff. Booked 4 rooms for 4 different people in my company and they all experienced a bad check in experience. The rooms shown on the website were not the rooms given to us. They told us it is the same size room, yet the pictures clearly showed there was a separate bedroom divided by a partition and a living room, and we were given 1 room suites. Pictures showed 2 tvs in the room these rooms only had one. Front desk was very rude about it and we were able to get 2 of the 4 rooms with partitions. Apparently this happens all the time as I met someone who had the same issue a few days before me and moved to the Wynn. The valet staff was great-friendly and got the car fast. also helpful with directions. But there is no reason the front desk INCLUDING the manager should be nasty to the customers. Maybe because I booked it on Orb? Room cleanliness-there were hairs on the bathroom floor which grossed me out a bit. Overall though the hotel is in a great location, and it is quiet if you don't want to deal with walking through a casino. getting to your room is quick and convenient. If the encore or Venetian/Pallazzo is a few dollars more you may be better off there. Based on the hotel alone, I recommend it. And even the security, and the valet staff were friendly. But 4 rooms all checked in at different times and all 4 had a problem with the front desk-that means there is a problem. Upper management should moniter how the staff is interacting with their customers. It is never acceptable to be rude to a paying customer whether they book through the hotel or through Orb.

Room cleaning

Room was cleaned one night we were there. They came around four everyday while we were trying to get ready for dinner and didn't come back while we were out. At least they could clean ours every other day before noon while we were out of the room. Very frustrating.

A Bastion of High-Class Relaxation

The location was 100% perfect for us! The ideal combination of center strip and zero foot traffic, made the hotel a peaceful retreat hidden right in the middle of the chaos and hedonism that is Vegas. From the main lobby there is a foot bridge that brings you to the Bellagio in no more than a minute or two and Aria is so close you can practically see the gaming floor. The staff was polite and helpful and the rooms were beautiful and had amazing views of either the Strip, the mountains or the Bellagio fountains. The pool was a great place to meet people or enjoy friends and the drinks were strong. The only negative things we could say were that Silk Road, the only restaurant, closed after lunch and Bar Vdara closed relatively early, around 1a.m. However, it is Las Vegas, so you are not exactly short of options. All in all, great trip! Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and would definitely recommend to a friend.

Dining tip: In Hotel

Silk Road, the only restaurant in Vdara, helped to make up for the lack of dining options by producing an amazing breakfast. Seriously, the crispy french toast with caramelized apples and apple cider reduction was heavenly.
