Though owned by big name MGM Resorts International, the Vdara Hotel and Spa promises a unique approach to Las Vegas in the midst of The Strip. With a LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, along with expansive, eco-friendly suites, there's an emphasis on holistic relaxation rather than gaming tables. Let the resident bartenders serve you up a cocktail at Bar Vdara while you indulge your inner child on the outdoor swings or visit the ESPA professionals for a personalized facial. Guests can simply choose to spend their days lounging at a rooftop cabana near plunge pools and the magnificent Vegas horizon, or putting across the greens at the exclusive Shadow Creek Golf Course.  Picking up a few gourmet wines and cheeses at Market Cafe Vdara before leaving ensures luggage full of enviable souvenirs.

Located in the CityCenter complex, the Vdara's 57-story crescent fits neatly in between the Aria Resort & Casino and the Bellagio. CityCenter offers a vast array of dining options, from the Pan-Asian cuisine of Social House at Crystals, to the French dishes of Twist by Pierre Gagnaire at Mandalay Oriental. Wandering through the complex treats visitors to Henry Moore and Maya Lin sculptures in the on-site Aria Fine Art Collection, and venturing out onto The Strip brings the 'canals' of the Venetian to the north, as well as the gleaming Luxor pyramid to the south.
Hints and tips
If you want the royal treatment, stay at one of Vdara's Stylish Suites. You'll receive complimentary limousine service to and from McCarran International Airport (LAS), a dedicated concierge phone line, and a special spa facilities pass. The Aria also offers a free tram stopping at the Monte Carlo, CityCenter and Bellagio; so if you're overburdened with shopping bags—or too much fine dining—just hop on board.

Absolutely Hard to Beat

This was my first time to Vegas and I must say Vdara Hotel and Spa has set the tone for all Vegas hotels. The entire experience was on point for site location to access to other surrounding attractions at City Centre was great. The only bad thing was I was charged 25 dollars a day for a resort fee. But overall it was well worth it. I will be staying here again.

Great hotel, shame about the housekeeping!

Vdara is a great hotel in an excellent location. The rooms are perfect, light, airy, big windows with an apartment feel. The kitchen area is good, but the fridge in the standard room inadequate, with little space for a large bottle of milk and no room for any meaningful quantity of food. You must ask for robes, flatware, coffee maker etc. on arrival. A saucepan will be provided if you're a tea drinker like me. You get 2 bottle of water per day and a couple of pods of coffee. This was very hit and miss and somedays I got water only and some days coffee only. A small thing but quite irritating. You get 2 mugs with your coffee maker. On my 2nd day both mugs were removed by housekeeping but not replaced, and although I asked for replacements, these didn't arrive until the day before I left (10 night stay). In the meantime I bought a mug so that I could make a drink. The pool was closed during my stay. The gym adequate. Patchy housekeeping aside, I would stay there again as I loved the room feel and location.

Great Vacation

Probably one of the best hotel on the strip with great pricing. Everything, was very close by from shopping, to the nightlife. Hotel staff was friendly and overall the non-smoking environment was great!! I'm happy that the city center also offered a shuttle bus to sema. Which is great. See you again next year!

Solo get away

Rooms looked good,a lil small but compfy.I had a perfect view of the Belligio fountains, the strip and the mountains! There were no kitchen appliances, plates, forks etc.I found strands of hair in the tub and sheets, missing light bulb, clogged sink, shades didn't roll up evenly, stinky couch,no trash bags, little things, but for this price? Ask for a north facing room 45fls and up.Perfect Views!! Staff was great. p.s location is behind Aria. Sucked. Too pricey for location!

Excellent 5+ hotel

-modern condo style - reminds Vancouver BC condos built in 2011-2012 by china investors. -service 5+ -clean 5+ -small kitchen equipped - my healthy diet does not need to be changed as well as reasonable cost to maintain. hotel's food is extremely overpriced. can't comment on quality as i did not try it. -valet parking -extremely well executed and very quick -no casino in the hotel is a big plus as it is no smell from cigarettes in the lobby or elevator -security - the same as belagio - you need to show the card briefly to 24x7 security person near elevators. - pool - small but very nice, and you can use Aria's pool if vdara's one is overcrouded. i did once. pool is very well maintained, no food allowed -very good feature. - gym - extremely good one - very rear to see in hotel's gym the pull ups stand that i get used at my home . friendly trainer and very private if you need it - designed extremely well and i have not heard any noise from the strip or inside the corridor or neibouring rooms - hotel was packed on oct.25th. definitely indicator of good noise isolation which is very rear in currently built hotels -spa is well designed and variety of services are on the list. - overall service on each and every occasion to contact personal was at 5+: friendly and proactive to serve better. - the hotel is 4 years old and maintained in extremely well condition. -location - what can be better located than 4 minutes walk to belagio?!!! - perfect. the only small point was that mattress or top for the mattress was soft. i preffer Marriot's quality of mattresses. but it was comfortable and i did not make any request to change it.

Most restaurants are located in Aria which is across the circle from Vdara. Still very close though.
