The hotel didn't have a room for us until 11:00 PM. The facility was alright, but would not be 5 stars. The service is not good at all. We waited for 30 minutes to place an order by the pool, and waited another twenty minutes to get the drinks,
and additional 15 minutes for food. It sucks.
Check in was fast, price was a great value and the room was spectacular in every way. I was given a view of the Bellagio fountains, there was no extra charge. The walk to strip and Aria is quick and easy and you have access to the monorail.
Nothing but good things to say about the Vdara. A+++
The location is prime in that it is close to most of the hot nightclubs in Vegas. You can literally walk to Hakkasan, Marquee, Haze to name a few. In terms of eateries you don't even have to bother with cab rides which are ripoffs. I was there for
a bachelor party and some of my other friends decided to stay at Bally's. I've stayed at Vdara before and once you go there you don't come back. Think about it, in NY you pay the same about for a 200 sq ft. shack. Vegas has some of the best hotels and I got so use to the elegance that is Vdara. Anyway booking here was the best because we were able to bring the bachelor party over to Vdara and everybody had a blast prior to going to the nightclub and we didn't have to buy one drink there since the club was walking distance away from Vdara. Consider this place if you want to be in the center of it all.
Booked a standard room and it was a spacious suite with a living room, full kitchen, and king bed. The bathroom was amazing! It had a full tub and separate shower. The only downside was there is no casino, but Aria is next door, which has a casino.
With construction work in the neighborhood it was quite difficult to reach the Las Vegas Strip on foot. Had to pass through other hotels/casinos. Parking consists of valet only (free of charge though). No restaurants on site. Need to walk to Aria.
Room was clean but has dust bunnies in some areas.
