Treasure Island Hotel

We did not actually sleep in the rooms asigned, as the ones shown were dirty. The housekeeping at this hotel needs some serious maintenance and from the looks of things, the hotel itself could do with some love and attention.

Don't Waste Money

First off I should tell you i've never given a bad review, I give honest reviews. This was our 1st time staying at this hotel, and it's our last. We Pre paid for our stay then upon checking in we were told its 28.00 per day for so called resort fee. Flare Bartending was supposed to be amazing, we waited 20 minutes in an empty bar for our bartender & we finally walked out. Prices for drinks are 18-20 bucks at the other resturant finding out afterwards that it's only 2 shots in the glass. I could by a bottle that will last the whole week for the price of one 2 shot drink. They ran out of oatmeal and our pancakes took 40 minutes for 2 pancakes mind you. Our room was dirty!! the floors were not clean they had black stains and the bed had 2 indentions from the amount guest sleeping there. discusting! It's room 5006 if you would like to see for yourself. It's a petite suite. We were told to give security our tickets for up close view of the show, and he said your spots fine. I'm thinking they just don't care. I'm not wasting money there again!!!

There are so many things ...

There are so many things went wrong during our stay. Front desk staff did not care customer, toilet was broken, bed comforter was dirty, bath room towels had many spots. When housekeeping staff took comforter for change, they never brought back during our stay, we slept without it. We were disappointed very much. We will stay somewhere else next time we go to Vegas.

Worst Hotel Check-In

I received the worst service when I checked into Treasure Island. The lady who checked me in was absolutely rude and was not the representation I expected. Other than that, the hotel was fine. Room was clean, bed was comfortable.

Horrible room, dark, with no sunlight...

Obviously they have rooms with sunlight, however I didn't seem to get one. I had a horrible room that looked out onto a wall and ugly rooftop. Zero view of anything and no sunlight... Very disappointing...

A la carte hotel

We have stayed at many hotels in Las Vegas and we were disappointed with Treasure Island. The overall look and feel of the hotel, rooms, restaurants, casino, etc., looked old and outdated . The bathroom fixtures were old and loose, the toilet was an adventure and the light over the sink flickered. The staff was inconsistent. At times very polite, other times curt and indifferent. Most annoying, and in our opinion, very low class, was the $20 plus per day, per guest charge for use of the fitness center! Also, you were charged $11.99 per day for internet access!! On top of all this, when I tried to find someone to talk to at the hotel, I was handed a card with a web address and told to write to their website. We will never stay there again.

LOTS OF NOISE

THE FIRST NIGHT WE ARRIVED THE HOTEL HAD NO NON SMOKING ROOMS LEFT. SO ON NIGHT ONE WE HAD TO SLEEP IN A SMOKING ROOM. WE WERE KEPT AWAKE ALL NIGHT LONG BY HEAVY CONSTRUCTION TAKING PLACE ACROSS THE STREET AT THE VENEITION HOTEL. CONSTRUCTION WENT ON FOR 24HRS A DAY- JACKHAMMMER CONSTRUCTION ALL NIGHT LONG. THE NEXT DAY THE HOTEL MOVED US TO ROOM NUMBER 2 AND THE AIR COND WAS NOT WORKING. THE ENGINEER CAME AND CHANGED A FILTHY FILTER. LATER THE ENGINEER HAD TO USE A ROLL OF DUCT TAPE TO SEAL THE WINDOWS TO KEEP OUT NOISE. I DECIDED TO UPGRADE MYSELF TO A SUITE FOR ROOM NUMBER 3. I THOUGHT SURLEY THIS WOULD BE A CLEAN QUIET ROOM. AFTER 5 MINUTES IN THE ROOM WE NOTICED THAT THE AIR COND WAS TERRIBLE. I OPENED THE AC VENT MYSELF AND PULLED OUT A BLACK,CLOOGED FILTER. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK AND ASKED FOR ANOTHER CLEAN FILTER. THERE ARE NO MICROWAVES OR COFFEE POTS EVEN IN THE SUITES. THE BEDS ARE GREAT. THE CASINO WAS VERY SMOKEY. MAYBE THE CASINO FILTERS NEEDED TO BE CLEANED. FINALLY MY BUSINESS PARTNERS AND WIFE WE UPSET WHEN THE TREASURE ISLAND GAVE US BREAKFEAST AND DINNER COUPONS. WHEN WE ORDERED EXACTLY WHAT WAS IN THE PICTURE ON THE COUPONS WE WERE TOLD THAT THE COUPONS DID NOT INCLUDE(ORANGE JUICE) WHICH WAS CLEARLY ON THE COUPON. MY TAIWAN PARTNER SAID THAT PEOPLE IN HIS COUNTRY WOULDN'T ACCEPT THAT TYPE OF DECEPTION. THE HEALTH SPA AND MASSAGE SERVICES AND POOL WERE NICE. WE WON $1,500.00 ON OUR LAST NIGHT SO THAT HELPED.
