Made our Spring Break Fantastic!

We were pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel had everything we wanted in one spot - lots of restaurants all with good food, great pool, fitness centre, etc. Really liked the location - walking distance to a shopping mall, convenience store, favourite coffee shop. Gave lots of 2 for 1 coupons for drinks and food that really helped with the budget (more $$ for slots). Rooms were comfy and quiet! Had a beautiful view of the Strip, We will stay here again!

Additional Fees

I was very annoyed that the Treasure Island charged an additional Resort Fee on top of what I already paid. The Treasure Island then failed to provide any information on what that fee covered. The only information on the hotel I was given was a map that the clerk printed off when I checked in, I will definitely stay somewhere else next time.

March Stay in the TI

We stayed in the TI back in October and had a fantastic Strip view over to the Mirage, so we decided to give the TI another go as a great deal popped up with free 2 for one show tickets to Mystere, this time we specifically booked a Strip view but this time we only got to over look the bottom of the strip towards the Stratosphere so a little disappointing. The rooms are great, the hotel is great the pool is fantastic, the only grievance would be with what all the hotels are charging now days - yup the RESORT FEE. Most hotels outside of Vegas provide all the things in the resort fee and more as standard. One of the main selling points in the TI resort fee is the Internet Usage apparently this is a saving of $19 per day per device, however they provide FREE internet usage to non hotel guests down in the Casino, come on TI you have paying guests on site and you have the cheek to charge them for internet.

Good value on Vegas Strip

Good value for location on Vegas Strip. Carpets could have been cleaner. Lines at restaurants tended to be quite lengthy so maybe could use more servers, but overall very friendly.

Clean & Comfortable but Horrible Staff

Overall Treasure Island has clean comfortable rooms, not many impressive dining options in the hotel, but it is a great location on the strip walking distance to most major casinos and venues. The biggest complaint I have is staff friendliness and service. Treasure Island (TI) offered early check at 1100 on the day I was arriving. We arrived at 1200 to check in because they told us to come early if we wanted rooms next to each other. They told us our rooms weren't ready and to come back at 2-2:30pm. We came back accordingly to find out that by 3pm our rooms were not ready and they had the arrogance to tell us that they don't put a time on when rooms are ready and to come back in 30 minutes. I would just think that after 3 hours they would have two rooms ready. And it was the the time of regular check in. We waited in the lobby another hour and even during that hour I had to constantly remind them that we were waiting and we still hadn't been taken care of. I asked for late check out as compensation and they couldn't even give us an extra 3 hours to stay in our rooms when they didn't have our rooms ready on time. Mind you, rooms I had booked a month in advanced. Get your act together Treasure Island! There are way too many options on the strip to have poor customer service.
