Wonderful stay!

TI made visiting Las Vegas a wonderful experience. We had a room on the 33rd floor facing south down the strip and it was great. TI is in a perfect spot on the strip and it made getting around to the other casinos very easy. We saw Mystere at TI, and Phantom and Blue Man Group at the Venitian across the street. All three were excellent. From our room, we could see the Volcano next door at the Mirage, and the fountains at the Bellagio. It was a great trip. [...] at the front desk was the best ever. Our reservation from online got lost and she was very patient and helpful getting it all straightened out. She even comped us a bottle of bubbly that we didnt even have time to order. Overall, it was great and we'll probably stay there again when we go back.

Even though the grey star line is the only transportation available to book online from the airport to the hotels, there are many others that are more reliable and timely. They may even be cheaper.

Treasure Island Bounteous

Checking in and out of TI was a superior experience to other Vegas Hotels. The line was short, we were allowed to check in early, and the day of check out, were granted two extra hours of time for a late check out at no cost. When checking in, we were given lots of time to ask questions and a good map of the hotel. The front desk was helpful. There was always someone to help in the casino and answer questions. Everyone was nice, pleasant, friendly, and we never felt rushed. The location on the strip is perfect, and the tram between TI and the Mirage was really convenient. The casino was a bit noisy and smoky, but when we checked out, we were given $20 of free casino play to keep us busy while we waited for our airport shuttle. How nice is that!! I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. We had a great time.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Take the escalator upstairs to the tram, the tram to the Mirage, cross the street at the traffic light, and you are at McDonalds for a $1 breakfast or lunch. Denny's is a couple yards up the street and the line moves fast. In TI, the coffee shop and PHO, the Vietnamese restaurant have delicious food and huge portions for reasonable prices. There are no mini bars in the room (so no doggy bags) but you could split a sandwich and it would be plenty.

9 hour reg delay with no appology

we found the bed extremley comfortable, the coffee cafe has very good food at a fair price, unfortunately the regisration delay on June 7th my birthday of coures was extremley dissapointing, we understand it was not the fault of the hotel, but no effort was made to compensate us and other guests for the at least 4 hour delay in getting our room.

A wondeful family getaway!

Great trip! For Vegas, the weather was cool and gorgeous! The hotel was great!! The only thing missing was more activities for children. With Vegas working to become a family oriented place, I would have liked to see the hotel have more accommodations for children while the parents maybe gamble or party! One problem was that on the day of check in the computers were down! The check in wait was ~ 2 hours just horrible! I wish the hotel would have accommodated guest with maybe a food voucher or coupon... just a thought! Also, I went down to the front desk to ask a question and the front desk clerks appeared to be a bit rude... maybe 3 to 4 at the desk and one person in line with no one offering to help until I approached the desk! The price charged for the use of the public computer and internet was a bit much as well!

Nice hotel, but bring back the pirates!

My boyfriend and I really liked our room, even though the decor was pretty generic. The bed was awesome and it's worth booking the hotel for that reason alone. The room was very clean each day. Whenever we needed anything, the staff was friendly and attentive. The pool was great and the DJ kept everyone engaged. The location is very central to the Mirage, Venetian, Caesars, Wynn, etc. On the other hand, the "Sirens of TI" was an absolutely brutal production...it was so stupid we left early. Bring back the (real) pirates! It felt like the hotel as a whole lacked direction and a consistent theme. The owners were totally off the mark when the got rid of the pirates. The Sirens are terrible! If you're into a tropically themed hotel, Mandalay Bay is probably your best (and more mature) option.

The Old Wench Needs a Makeover...

Fifteen years ago this property was the Cat's (Pirates?) meow. Not any more. The staff, almost to a man, seemed completely over it. The casino was tight, I mean super tight. I observed very light slot play and no wonder...they had all the machines set on "recession". Got a good deal on Orbitz but would probably not return. Limited late night dining options. The room was OK, could have been cleaner.
