Questionable "facility fee"

Hotel service was great! We had to ask for extra towels and shampoo a few times because there were 7 of us in 2 rooms and they were very promptly delivered. However, they charged us an extra mandatory $25/night/room "facility fee". We are still not sure what it meant since the pool and fitness center were not a part of the fee. It was very deceiving and a little shady since you have no choice but to pay it. It should have been included in the hotel price! Gets only 2 stars for value!

It was ok

Long check in line with 2 people checking you in. Very annoying, the required $28 fee for the spa was annoying. I never use any of the spa stuff.

Could have been better

Wasnt all that impressed. Hated how there wasn't a microwave or a fan in the bathroom. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash sucked. Wish the pool stayed open later at night. Wish there was better sound proofing didn't sleep well at all. Wis h there was a coffee pot in the room. Water pressure in shower wasn't all that great. Dining wasn't all that good. Kahunaville was good. Buffet was ok. Overall it wasn't a bad stay just could have been better. Probably will not stay at this hotel again

Good location, hotel experience was average

Nothing really wrong with this hotel, but nothing really memorable either. The room was comfortable, nice big bathtub, ok view. Pool is pretty chill and good for just lounging and drinking, getting a start on the day. Food in the restaurants was pretty decent. I recommend the buffet (2for1 during week) and the 4$ all you can drink champagne. The biggest letdown would probably be the lack of free drinks when gambling. At most other hotels if you're going to lose 100 bucks gambling in an hour, you'll probably get at least a couple of free drinks out of it. Here the wait staff is all but impossible to find and I was told that the drinks were not always free. It is probably in your best interests to gamble elsewhere.

Four Star Prices With Average Amenities

Withthe four star rating, I expected a more themed hotel. There is definitely nothing splashy about the hotel. The staff was awesome! The rooms were nicely decorated! The location is good (next to The Venetian, The Palazzo, etc.) The "gotcha" was a $28/w tax "Resort Fee" to pay for things that were then termed "complimentary". That was a joke (workout room, Internet, etc.) Offering discounts such as 2 for 1's and then charging me for them was insulting. We had a good time, but I will not stay there again. It is overpriced for what it offers compared to other locations.

Don't buy shows through online vendors. Go to the hotel the artists perform at and buy it there. It is a great deal cheaper. Also, when you get to town, many of the hotels have food/drink/club specials. Also, there is a $99 pp special for up to 20 shows over two days. We'll do that next time. If you. into gambling, join one of the casino "clubs" for comps and free starting $.

Comfortable, good value

Our visit to TI was my 2nd this year- I stayed earlier this month for a business trip. Comparing the two visits, I found the service excellent, but the room inconsistent, and dining left something to be desired. The first room had an alarm clock with ipod dock, while the 2nd did not. (on a sidenote, two couples in our party had adjoining rooms, and had the same ipod/no dock alarm issue). Our view was beautiful on our 2nd trip, but if we do stay again, I will opt to not have a view of the Sirens show. The beds were different (one extremely comfortable on the first visit, the 2nd room was too soft). Dining was okay. We ended up having breakfast in the buffet- lots of options for someone with an egg allergy, so I appreciate that. Our dinner in the Coffee Shop left a lot to be desired. All of our food (burgers, sandwiches and fries) were all cold when they were brought to the table. Our best lunches and dinners were eaten outside of the hotel.

Disappointed with cleanliness of room and the pool was too cold. The room was dusty throughout plus their were food items left over on the carpet from the previous room occupants. However the bars and location were good.

A week long stay.

Stayed at treasure island for a week long vacation. The location was great, but the lobby area and the pool were way smaller and more crowded than all the other 4 star hotels I visited. Stayed at MGM last time and had much better experience. The maids didn't wipe the dust off things during their routine cleaning. Also, was billed for the wifi that is included in the resort fee and had to fight with a concierge to take it off my bill. Would not stay there again given their prices.

Stay in hotels off the strip and rent a car. It's a short drive and all strip hotels offer free parking. Lots and lots of money will be saved this way.
