Weekend Get-a-way

Perfect! Room was clean, bathroom was large enough and there was even a light up make-up mirror! We had requested and paid the extra $ for a strip view - well worth it to see the strip lite up at Night. This hotel is conventiently located on the strip giving us the option to walk to other hotels/casinos which we prefered rather than taking a cab all the time.

My review of Treasure Island - TI

Treasure Island was a surprise to me as the room was very clean and comfortable. The bedding was excellent! Be sure to ask for a room on floors 31 or higher as the elevators that transport you to these floors are never crowded nor is there a wait. My only complain was the softness of the toilet paper...that's it. Would stay hear again. The middle of the strip location was excellent!

Wedding Party

I loved TI and would definitely stay again! Not only did we stay there but we also got married there on the pirate ship, it was awesome! Everyone was so nice and helpful the entire time leading up to the ceremony. All of our guests stayed here as well and they all loved TI too! The room we had was great and it had an awesome view of the strip! The bathrooms were very spacious and clean. There was plenty of room in the room for all our stuff and we had a lot!

Great time in Vegas

Location, hotel, amenities were great. Only downside was room AC had hard time keeping room cool & the age old problem of arriving in Vegas in the a.m. and not being able to check in, ending up in line behind dozens of people who arrived hours after us.

Great Location, Nice Rooms

We found the rooms to be very clean and well-kept and the restaurant staff were very friendly. The front desk staff were friendly and the bell desk staff person was very nice and gave us useful information for our Grand Canyon tour. The Cirque du Soleil booking staff were very friendly (except for one!) Over all-I'd give this hotel a great review.

Hotel Needs Attention

The Treasure Island Hotel bathrooms (rented 2 rooms) had wallpaper peeling off the wall and very thin towels. The safe in 1 of the rooms was locked upon arrival, forcing us to hang around waiting for Security to unlock it before we could leave the room. The water coming from the sink had an odd odor, as did the hallway (14th floor). We will not return to Treasure Island. Having said that, the proximity to the Fashion Show Mall was a plus and the new Social House restaurant was terrific.

LOTS OF NOISE

THE FIRST NIGHT WE ARRIVED THE HOTEL HAD NO NON SMOKING ROOMS LEFT. SO ON NIGHT ONE WE HAD TO SLEEP IN A SMOKING ROOM. WE WERE KEPT AWAKE ALL NIGHT LONG BY HEAVY CONSTRUCTION TAKING PLACE ACROSS THE STREET AT THE VENEITION HOTEL. CONSTRUCTION WENT ON FOR 24HRS A DAY- JACKHAMMMER CONSTRUCTION ALL NIGHT LONG. THE NEXT DAY THE HOTEL MOVED US TO ROOM NUMBER 2 AND THE AIR COND WAS NOT WORKING. THE ENGINEER CAME AND CHANGED A FILTHY FILTER. LATER THE ENGINEER HAD TO USE A ROLL OF DUCT TAPE TO SEAL THE WINDOWS TO KEEP OUT NOISE. I DECIDED TO UPGRADE MYSELF TO A SUITE FOR ROOM NUMBER 3. I THOUGHT SURLEY THIS WOULD BE A CLEAN QUIET ROOM. AFTER 5 MINUTES IN THE ROOM WE NOTICED THAT THE AIR COND WAS TERRIBLE. I OPENED THE AC VENT MYSELF AND PULLED OUT A BLACK,CLOOGED FILTER. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK AND ASKED FOR ANOTHER CLEAN FILTER. THERE ARE NO MICROWAVES OR COFFEE POTS EVEN IN THE SUITES. THE BEDS ARE GREAT. THE CASINO WAS VERY SMOKEY. MAYBE THE CASINO FILTERS NEEDED TO BE CLEANED. FINALLY MY BUSINESS PARTNERS AND WIFE WE UPSET WHEN THE TREASURE ISLAND GAVE US BREAKFEAST AND DINNER COUPONS. WHEN WE ORDERED EXACTLY WHAT WAS IN THE PICTURE ON THE COUPONS WE WERE TOLD THAT THE COUPONS DID NOT INCLUDE(ORANGE JUICE) WHICH WAS CLEARLY ON THE COUPON. MY TAIWAN PARTNER SAID THAT PEOPLE IN HIS COUNTRY WOULDN'T ACCEPT THAT TYPE OF DECEPTION. THE HEALTH SPA AND MASSAGE SERVICES AND POOL WERE NICE. WE WON $1,500.00 ON OUR LAST NIGHT SO THAT HELPED.

Treasure Island was an ...

Treasure Island was an aweful experience. Unless you like sushi, you had to eat at the buffet or leave the hotel to eat. You could hear everything going on in the hallways, even people talking in a low voice. Doors shutting at the other end of the hall sounded like it was right next door. The pool only goes to 4 ft. The staff kept watching every move I made like I was up to something. They were all very rude. TI is way to expensive once you get there and is not worth it. Tangerine was a joke.
