Dining is another highlight at the Treasure Island resort, and with 10 restaurants to choose from, everything from Italian to seafood, steak, and Vietnamese cuisine is up for grabs. Try the two-for-one buffet for culinary delights like lobster ravioli, barbecued spare ribs and large chocolate-dipped strawberries.

Not Bad......

Staff was nice, location was great, and all the amenities were good. The only complaint was that the room was slightly dirty (shaving cream on wall in shower and dirty blanket on the bed - stain of some sort). All of that was cleaned upon request. The Casino was nice, but it is a little smaller than the other casinos on the strip so the smoke was pretty bad as there was no room for it to ventilate. The Bed was extremely comfortable. Easily one of the most comfortable beds I have been in while traveling.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a Walgreens right across the street. Go there for drinks/snacks for the room. $3 for a coke in the casino and buy 2 for $3 at Walgreens.

Review TI Octobr 22 - October 25, 2009

I have stayed at TI previously and was great to have chosen it as its location to the Sands Convention Center/AARP convention was terrific. I know that one day my firends were at the pool when the DJ/rapper was there and did not like the atmosphere. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay, helpful staff, and food.

Second Time's Not a Charm

Staff are hit and miss. Some are the best in Vegas and will do everything for you, others resent their jobs. Last year (2008), tipping the check-in got you a room upgrade, this year no dice. Tipping maids got your room cleaned like a palace and extra towels/bath stuffs, this year no dice. The tables are over priced given that across the street Harrah's will do cheaper minimums. The food is extremely overpriced for what it is. Last year the minimums during the slow time was $5 now it's $15. Understandably, less people play tables at TI these days and there's always space at the resturants because they are ridiculously over priced for the amount / quality. The Sports Book is average. It's got less smoke than most, but despite being a no smoking area, some people ignore this and the staff do nothing to stop them. Second time's a charm, but disappointing in this experience, we won't go back - the new management don't seem to care as much about their customers.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

$20 will buy you an All-you-can Eat All-Day Buffet at Circus Circus. You can enter and leave as much as you want and they do breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. The food is comparable to cheap European menus. It's a 15 minute walk north of TI.

The good and the ugly of our stay at TI

Hotel is in a good, central location, the rooms are dated and need updating(i.e.. Bathroom has tub light but no fan, hopper had a leak). Halls and casino strongly smelled of a odor eater intended to kill smoke smell. It is the only hotel that had the smell.Room and bathroom cleanliness was questionable, mirrors had hair on them(probably wiped with dirty cloth). Would rather spend a little more and stay at the Mirage or Paris. Casino was not very appealing, tables and slots did not appear to be good values(tables at Harrahs, Sahara, and slots at Ceasars were much better).

Las Vegas Vacation

Every single staff member was friendly and courtious. Our room was beautiful and I love the location. The restaurants were awesome too. We loved Isla, Canters, and the breakfast place (not sure of the name) accross from the bar in the casino. The dealers were very helpful too, I didn't feel like I was at the Bellagio where it can get kinda snobish. Loved it!

Unfriendly staff, and had to wait 1 1/2 hours for someone to come and fix our shower before we could get ready and going for the day. We had to call 4 times and finally had to go and find someone before they came to our room.
