Cuisine with an essence of the Canton and Shanghai provinces, prepared utilizing the four Chinese cooking methods: steamed, braised, baked and fried. Although live seafood is the specialty, chef Kai-Wa Yau prefers a menu that is constantly changing to take advantage of seasonal offerings. The masterful cooking is paired with a serene and contemporary Chinese atmosphere.
You've seen his TV show, you've read his cookbooks, now sample the signature dishes of one of America's most popular chefs - Emeril Lagasse. The celebrity chef gives Las Vegas fine dining his signature "bam!" With scallops from Maine, pike from the Midwest, and chicken from Alabama, Emeril's serves a fresh and distinctive blend of Creole/Cajun specialties. You'll find the bright and vibrant restaurant just as exciting as the food.
Featured on the cover of Wine Spectator, SEABLUE is the creation of James Beard award-winning chef Michael Mina. A culinary cross-section of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean and Vietnamese, the Grand Wok satisfies your craving for Asian cuisine. So, where to start? How about the sushi bar? With so many choices, you'll find something new every time you visit. The restaurant's bamboo and black granite accents make the perfect backdrop for the cascading waterfall and polished stone pond.
One of the most recognizable names in food today - Wolfgang Puck - reinvents American bar and grill food. Here, you'll find a unique interpretation of California cuisine prepared with a new spirit. The combination is best described as beachfront bistro meets classic bar and grill. And the taste is, well, let's just say you have to try this one. Great Stay!!
Cilla N. Nov 19, 2009
This is a great hotel!! We had the Junior Suite in the Penthouse in Tower 2; first-class all the way. But, prepare to pay for ... it! They supply you with 2 8-ounce bottles of water...$20 a day plus tax???(This is an autimatic charge that's paid at the end of your stay). Breakfast for 2....$55??? For eggs, bacon, sausage, toast and juice?? Yikes!!! But, the rooms, actually the entire hotel was phenominal. Be prepared to walk to get to any of the main attractions. Friendly-staff. Great view. Overall, I'd give this hotel a 10!! Would definitely stay here again and again.

Great Hotel- pointless resort fee
Hen Nov 17, 2009
We went for the weekend and had a great time. It was really clean, service was wonderful, and the pool looked great ... (although not as nice as the Mirage in my opinion). The only thing that irked me was the $20 per day resort fee. It's not a lot of money, but it is unnecessary on my opinion. You receive 2 small water bottles a day and the paper (all equal to maybe $5). The other thing, we got a $25 credit to any spa service to find that even a manicure was $50 (including a 20% tip which they automatically add). So we loved the hotel but there were little annoying things that just irritated me. But we'd highly recommend if you don't mind walking a few minutes past the MGM Grand.

FABULOUS, as always!!
Empty Nester Nov 17, 2009
This is an all-suite hotel attached to the back of the MGM. We always get the one-bedroom suite (for a fantastic price) so ... we have a balcony. The view is incredible. Summer-time visits we eat breakfast at the pool & spend all morning there. Winter-time we have room service & relax in the room. All the dining personnel are friendly & efficient, as is the rest of the staff. Housekeeping will come any time you want them, prior to 5pm, that is. The one-bedroom suites has a full kitchen, 1-3/4 baths, dining bar with 2 seats, dining table for 4, DVD player, ice maker, lighted closets, it just goes on & on. This is our absolute favorite place to stay in Vegas!!

The hotel suite was great for bringing food and cooking in the room. Microwave, stovetop, refridgerator, utensils and dishes ... etc. I loved the location because you had a quiet restful pool and yet the nightlife and casinos were just down the street without being right in your hotel lobby.

Really liked the room, big room for Vegas, nice TV,fridge,etc... Hotel was "swanky" without being pretencious. My conference ... was Mandalay Bay, a LONG walk after the Excalibur-MBay tram stopped at 10:00PM, otherwise a easy 15 minute trip to get that far. (35-40 if you have to hike it.

Best hotel with great service
lshackle Oct 29, 2009
This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at! It is a more modern hotel without all the flash and non-smoking. We ... were in a penthouse suite that had fabulous view of the strip and impeccably clean. We used the workout facility which had the latest equipment. We also used the pool which was smaller, but definitely more intimate. The staff was great, if we needed directions anywhere in Vegas they would print them up for us. All were very polite and professional. We did order room service that was delicious and very quick to deliver. Maybe the only thing that people may not like is the location. It is near the end of the strip, but when driving a rental car made it much easier to get in and out of the strip. Love it and will definitely be back.

This as the second time i have stayed at this hotel. it is spotlss and the staff are very helpfull. Before arriving i ... requested room in tower 1 (there are 3 seperate towers), when i arrived they had allocated us a room in tower 2 but this easlier changed to tower 1. the concierge ws able to book tickets to the basketball and ice hockey and ge us excellent seats. The hotel is a few minutes walk through a covered walkway to the MGM grand and then another 5 minutes walk through the MGM to get to the strip, this is ok for a few days but can become monotonus after a few days. Each of the towers has its own pool area which are never very busy and very comfortabe and quiet. If you are planning to stay here then you should request a room in tower 1 as this is the tower closest to he MGM grand.

Great Family Hotel/Condo
NLuling Oct 22, 2009
Service was excellent. These are high end 1 & 2 bedroom/2 Bath condos being rented as hotel rooms. The master suite gave us ... privacy and the living area was comfortable. You have access to the three smaller pools as well as the MGM Lazy River Pool. My wife, daughter and I enjoyed the lazy river. The staff was friendly and responsive. The only drawback could be the long walk to the strip. We liked the walking so it fit well with our vacation style. Cabs are everywhere if you want them.
Traveler type: Family
This location is a 1/4-1/2 mile walk to the strip and/or MGM. If you hate walking you will hate this location or be in a cab all the time. We love to hike so it worked well for us. Fastest route to the strip is from the front of the Hotel and go west to Planet Hollywood, not through the MGM. Its expensive to eat on the strip so I took the city bus to the Vons market near the UNLV campus the first morning and stocked the fridge for breakfast, some lunches and snacks. The pull out sleeper couch was firmer and better than most but still a pullout. If you have more than two adults I would suggest the 2 bedroom. The Lazy River inner tube rental was $16 so we shared one and felt it was worth it. A few guests brought their own tubes.

Didn't want to leave Oct 21, 2009
This is a great place to stay if you want to be a block off the strip. Its very quiet and the people there are very friendly ... and helpful. Rent a car its very easy to get around town and parking is free at every casino. The bus pass is cheaper but its worth the extra money to have a car so you don't have to wait (15 mins or more) and the bus is always crowded. The bellmen will give you directions to anything you want and are very friendly.
