Great customer service, the staff was friendly, very helpful, responded quickly

I was vry impressed with the friendliness of the staff. I did not encounter one negative or rude person while at the hotel. The room was spacious for three people and the sleeper sofe was actually comfortable. I would have liked more than one bottle of water per person in the room as the water out of th tap was terrible tasting. overall, I would come back to stay. There were not a great number of kids staying at the the hotel so it was very quite.

Dining

The breakfast buffet was reasonable and good at the MGM Grand.. we ate there every morning

very clean and comfortable

Would recommend Sun, Apr 22, 2007
this was one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in some very upscale hotels. The rooms are very clean. There is a coffee maker, and complete mini kitchen in room. The down comforter and bed were as comfortable as home. There are flat screen tv's in every room and make sure if you have an ipod you bring it because there are i-home radio's also. My favorite part was how beautiful the bathrooms were, there are actual cabinets in the bathroom so you can neatly organize your things instead of having them all over the counter top. There is also a double jacuzzi tub and tv in ever bathroom. The room felt more like an apartment that you live in which was very cool and they are stocked with lots of amenities taht are of no extra charge. It is a little bit to walk over to the main MGM in heels but the walkways make it super easy. I LOVED that it is a non-smoking hotel. The concierge was also wonderful. I highly recommend staying at the signature!

Shopping hint

if you need emergency supplies, inexpensive trinkets or snacks- A few blocks down from the MGM main entrance on the strip is a walgreen drug store.

Physically challenging

Arrival at the Hotel (Signature at MGM Grand) was fine, check in was handled with out incident. We took our bags to the room, unpacked, made up the pull out couch (1 bed,2 people, father and son) then proceeded to the Casino. After a walk of approximately 3/4 of a mile we arrive at the hotel. Because of the time we spent the night and inquired at the front desk about moving into the MGM proper. We then learned that the Signature is owned by MGM but it is a separate ownership therefore, in essence transfers from one to the other cannot occur. You must dheck out, pay for your total intended stay and check in to the MGM and pay their rate. ( I walk with a cruch due to a rod in my leg and screws in my knee. Therefore the hike was a serious imposition). Also, the hotel is non gambling (this is Las Vegas) and non smoking (good). The room (really a time share condo type) had a refrigator, micro wave, two burner electric stove top, sink w/ garbage disposal, dishes, silverware, cookware, toaster and coffee maker. The bathroom was spacious, the john in a separate room off the bathroom - shower, jacuzzi, two sinks and room enough to play handball. The carpet in the room needed to be replaced. If your into hiking this is a oplace to stay.

Attractions

Buffet at the MGM is probably the best buy in the MGM. It is a very long walk to get there. The monorail is worth the money if you plan on going to other hotels.

Great Luxury Hotel

Would recommend Wed, Apr 18, 2007
The Signiture at MGM Grand had very nice, comfortable rooms. I stayed in tower one which was just a few minute walk to the MGM Grand, it's restaurants, and the Las Vegas Monorail. All in all I really enjoyed my stay there and only had a few very minor complaints, such as low water pressure in the shower, one 10 minute wait for my car from the valet service, and a higher price tag than I would've liked.

Best First...

Would recommend Mon, Apr 16, 2007
This was a first all the way around. My first time Flying, My first trip to Las Vegas, and My first time at the Signature at MGM Grand. The hotel stay was like home. The room was lovely and very clean. We received awake up call for breakfast. Housekeeping was marvelous every thing was always clean. Depending on your room you could see the mountains from your balcony. When I take another trip and it to LasVegas The Signature at MGM Grand would be my first choice.

Entertainment hint

Sit right off the main Las Vegas strip. Lots of shopping, sight seeing, and entertainment.

Very baby/toddler-friendly and an incredible value

Would recommend Sun, Apr 15, 2007
Beautiful new facility that was much more family friendly than I would have expected. We traveled with our 23 month old son and requested a crib at check-in. Not only were we furnished with a full-sized crib, rather than a pack n play (which my tall son has outgrown), but also a sample pack of Johnson & Johnson baby toiletries and a travel pack of wipes. The rooms were luxurious and quiet (virtually no hallway noise - this is Vegas?). We used the DVD player for our son's favorite DVD's as well as lullabye CD's when it was time for him to wind down. We forgot our iPod, but the iHome next to the bed would have been another great way to play favorite tunes. The fridge in the kitchenette was more than enough space for my son's milk, juice, yogurt and snacks as well as leftovers from dinner. There is a Vons supermarket at Tropicana and Maryland Blvd., so we were able to stock our room with drinks, fruit and breakfast food and have a leisurely breakfast every morning while still in our jammies. Kitchen appliances in the junior suite included coffeemaker, toaster (great for that morning bagel!), blender and microwave oven, in addition to a 2-burner electric cooktop. The kitchenette was also fully stocked with dishware, flatware, drinking and wine glasses, cooking utensils, knives, cutting board, dishtowels, dish soap, etc. The pool at the Signature was much less crowded than the MGM Grand's and included a 6-inch deep wading section at one end. True, it doesn't have landscaping, waterfall, and that river at the MGM Grand's, but it was nice not having to worry about bumping into other people. It is really the best of both worlds. A quiet comfortable suite with kitchenette and full access via a moving walkway (bring comfy shoes!) to everything in the MGM Grand, including their huge casino with lion habitat, incredible dining, highly-rated pool complex, monorail entrance, etc. and everything on the Strip. All this for comparable rates as at the MGM Grand. Our only glitch during the stay was an alarm that went off around 1:30 am on our floor only. Unfortunately, the alarm went off repeatedly for several minutes, and the front desk staff was unable to disable it directly when we phoned down.

Money saver

Vons supermarket at 1131 E. Tropicana Avenue at Maryland Blvd., just southeast of the UNLV campus. If you have a rental car, you can stop on your way from the airport and stock up on breakfast items, drinks and snacks for your room. Much cheaper and healthier than going to McDonald's every morning and you don't have to change out of your jammies.

We would def. stay here again and recommend it to anyone. You are within a couple of minute walk to MGM which has everything you could possibly want. The rooms are beautiful, beds are comfortable, and everything is new and clean. Great spot in vegas, and the tram is just a few steps into MGM so you can board the tram within 5 minutes of your room, very convienent!

Dining

Shibuya- was amazing, right inside MGM. If you looking for a nice dinner out, you can't go wrong with this one.
