Dealertainers, divas and luaus define this worldly center-Strip classic
Like a favorite uncle, The Quad Resort & Casino Located next to Flamingo is a reliable presence at the center of the Las Vegas Strip. With a slightly kitschy tribute to ancient Japan, The Quad Resort & Casino offers a variety of entertainment, amenities and dining in a relatively compact space. Central to the casino floor are the famous "Dealertainer" celebrity card dealers. More entertainment includes Frank Marino's cross-dressing Divas, the acrobats of Japan's Matsuri and the world-class Auto Collections.

Please be advised that this hotel will be under major renovations starting immediately and the projected completion date is sometime in late 2013. Effective immediately, vehicular access to The Quad from The Strip is permanently closed and all traffic must enter the property via the back entrance. Please also be advised that the main image that you see on our website is an artist rendering of the property when it is complete and not a true depiction of what the property looks like today. While we regret the inconvenience this may cause you, please know that Orbitz Worldwide and Caesars Entertainment takes a great deal of pride in your comfort and apologizes in advance for any disturbance this may cause you.

Highlights

  • The Catalyst Bar and the gaming opportunities at the Casino
  • The Auto Collections, one of the largest classic car showrooms with $100 million USD worth of inventory on display and for sale
  • "Dealtertainers," card dealers dressed as famous celebrities like Elvis, Michael Jackson, Dolly Parton and more
  • Oversized portions of unique, savory comfort food served at Hash House A Go Go

Location
The Quad Resort & Casino sits between the Flamingo and Harrah's resorts on the east side of the Strip, directly across from Caesars Palace and the Forum Shops.
Rooms
Despite The Quad Resort's Asian theme, the 2,650 Standard Deluxe rooms in the resort's five towers are traditional American or Tropical in style, with queen or king beds, granite countertops and updated showers. The Capri building features pet-friendly accommodations (check hotel policy for restrictions). Suite options feature spa tub with mirrored ceilings, and amenities like wet bars, sofabeds and flat-screen TVs. Wi-Fi Internet access is available for a fee.
Features
Guests at The Quad Resort & Casino Located next to Flamingo enjoy the typical Vegas experience with amenities like a spa and salon, a large seasonal outdoor pool with cabanas (fees apply), fitness center and a small selection of casual shopping. The Quad Resort also features some of Vegas' most popular karaoke, a seasonal Polynesian Luau on the pool deck, a wedding chapel with a variety of ceremony options, and the world famous Auto Collections with more than 250 cars and a "history on wheels" tour.

Dine at moderately priced restaurants like Embers steakhouse, Burger Palace, Quesadilla and Ginseng 3, a rare 24-hour Asian eatery on the Strip. Breakfast is served at Hash House A Go Go (come hungry for big, tasty portions) and Betty's Diner. Stop for cocktails at Fat Tuesday's or go for people watching at Beacher's Rockhouse, a wild and bold carnival-themed bar with sexy dancers and a prime Strip-side location. On February 1, Ruth Chris Steakhouse will take over the space that The Range currently occupies.

Free self- and valet parking is available at the resort.
Entertainment
For gaming action, the casino at The Quad Resort & Casino Located next to Flamingo offers a unique stadium-style sports book, card games featuring celebrity impersonating "dealertainers," and also honors the Harrah's Total Rewards Card. Free self- and valet parking is available.

Don't miss Matsuri, the famed Japanese "Muscle Musical" with a cast of 18 Japanese athletes who perform stunts like Human Jump Rope, Judo Tango and Foot Drums. From April through October, head to the pool deck for Las Vegas' only authentic poolside Luau and Polynesian revue.

The LINQ, an open-air shopping, dining, and entertainment destination, will open more restaurants, boutiques and stores in late 2013. Some brands set to open include Brooklyn Bowl, Sprinkles Cupcakes, Chayo Mexicano and Off The Strip Bistro.

Same Old Imperial Palace

Although the casino level has changed significantly, the moment I reached the floor my room was on, that old Imperial Palace look returned. Room was fine, nothing special. Location is great if you want to be on the Strip. Just wish it was a complete transformation. If looks are important to you, wait until the next transformation, when it becomes The Linq Hotel and Casino. Maybe this time they will move past the ground floor.

My stay

While the Casino Area for the Quad was very nice and it was connected to the new Linq area, my room was not nice at all. It was old, smelled of mildew, and construction on the renovations was heard as early as 7am!!!. While it was prices as $18 there was another $22.00 in resort fees. Yet the pool is undergoing renovations cannot be used....so then why am I not getting a reduced resort fee?

Great Location, nice staff and maid service

Besides the rooms being out dated. The hotel was a great place. They had a 24 hr restaurant the Hash House, Osehas were we danced to good music all night, Fat Tuesdays and Catalyst bar where we could refill our margaritas 24 hours!! Guy Fieri Restaurant. When you walked out you walked straight in to the Carnival Club which was partying all day and night then you walk right into the Harrahs for more good food. It was central on the strip. Great location would even be better when they change out their carpet and decor.

Not too bad for what you pay

Check in was quick with my total rewards card. Staff was nice and helpful. Casino looks really good. The room is kinda like an old motel 6. Very outdated, funky carpet and peeling wallpaper. But, it served its purpose. Great location.

unsatisfied room

The casino was descent but the hotel was dirty and smelly. Elevators were filthy and old. Our room had balcony non accessible (they screwed it shut) overseeing the back of a building with a slight view of the Caesars forum shops. Large noticeable stain in carpet. I felt like I had to wash my hands just touching things in our room. Basically it was an ok bed to sleep in but I didnt want to stay in our room much due to the cleanliness, but maybe thats the hotels way of making you get out of your room and spend money at the casino.

Simply a place to sleep

It looks as if there is a major renovation going on and they hadn't made it to the rooms. Our room was old, kinda musty, carpet was dirty and there were still wicker chairs in there from the 80s. The Balcony door didn't lock. it was however a place to sleep but if you are really looking for a nice Vegas stay choose another hotel. The hotel pool was not open and won't be for another 3 months so we had to hike on over to Flamingo which was awesome!

Avoid t all costs

On arrival was told that no room was available of the type we ordered. The room we were offered was only reached by 2 lifts and an extremely long walk. Some people opposite this room found a live cockroach in a bed (we actually saw this) and the room was thick with dust. It didn't look as if it had been cleaned for years. Eventually after some helpful staff (these are few and far between) were able to contact someone we were told there was a room available close to our requirements. On returning to reception the same snotty nosed clerk insisted that no room was available. We persisted and when she phoned the person who said there was a room she capitulated. Free breakfast? Second floor Harrahs Starbucks was not at all helpful and everything we requested had to be paid for and the choice was extremely limited. First floor Harrahs was considerably better as we were able to purchase some hot food and our choice of beverage at a small additional cost. Except one day on requesting an orange drink, which had been ordered every day, I was told they didn't have orange juice at all, only apple juice. Evidently Valencia Orange cold drink isn't orange but coffee. Ripped off for a further 4 dollars or so. How have they got the nerve to charge a resort fee for no amenities. We paid 226 dollars for 11 nights. Had to go to Harrahs for breakfast, no pool, the only modernisation that had taken place as far as we could see was in the casino area on the first floor. From comments of other guests none of their rooms had been modernised either. Is this enough or do you want more. The smell in our corridor was obnoxious combined with the smell of drugs. Parties allowed in the bedrooms, we were woken by shouting and screaming outside our bedroom from midnight until 5.30 at the weekend and security only paid lip service to them and so the noise continued. Room service was terrible, expensive & nasty, supplied only by Hash a Go Go. We say hash a Go Go somewhere else. Preferably McDonalds just beyond Harrahs for a third of the cost. We are seasoned travellers to Las Vegas and have been going since 2004 sometimes twice a year but this was the worst experience of all. Would we stay there again? Not on your life. Avoid at all costs!
