Best hotel experience in Las Vegas

Would recommend Thu, Dec 10, 2015
I can't say enough good things about my stay at the Platinum. It is convenient to the Strip (we walked to the Bellagio), the rooms are huge, very clean, and well appointed. We had a gorgeous view of the Strip and the sunrise from our balcony. The hotel was quiet and didn't smell like cigarettes and perfume, which is the norm with even the nicest hotels on the Strip. I visited with my 6 year-old daughter and this hotel was absolutely perfect. I've stayed at some of the nicest properties in town (Bellagio, Mandalay, the Palms, Mirage, Venetian) and this one was the best. Every other hotel smells, has a party atmosphere going on, and doesn't have windows that open. The Platinum is a refreshing break from all of that! I have declared that this is the only hotel I will stay at in Las Vegas going forward. Really.

Excellent stay, great room

Would recommend Mon, Nov 16, 2015
Our suites were fabulous, very spacious and roomy. We had a kitchen, lounge, balcony, huge bedroom, etc. Location was 15min walk to the Strip, but we liked this as it was away from the bustle and noise!

Not on the strip but totally worth it!

Would recommend Sat, Oct 31, 2015
My wife and I stayed here for my birthday. This hotel is not on the strip and the entrance can be a little hard to see but those are the only cons I can think of. The room was huge and beautiful. Full kitchen, living room, big bedroom with a king size bed, and a bathroom with a shower big enough for both of us and a jetted tub. Best hotel I have ever been to so far. And the service was great. The staff was very attentive and always happy to assist. I mentioned that we were in town for my birthday and the following night when my wife and I returned from a night out, we had a bucket of beer, a big slice of chocolate cake, and a card wishing me a happy birthday. Amazing! We had a rental car so the strip was about a five minute drive. May be about a 20 minute walk. If we come back to Las Vegas we will definitely be coming back to this hotel.

Awesome trip

Would recommend Sat, Jul 18, 2015
Hotel met expectation. Good value for the price we paid. Hotel was not too far from the strip which was perfect. The fact that the room has 2 queen beds and an extra rollaway was a plus. Its hard to find those around. Staffs were nice and helpful. Overall I was glad I chose to stay here.

Good Value Poor Execution

Would recommend Sun, Jul 12, 2015
Great alternative to strip hotels. Large rooms in reasonable shape. Stayed here many times in past and will again. This particular trip they could not find my reservation from this site in their reservation system even though I had a printed copy which I handed them. Spent 1 hour at the front desk finally becoming exasperated and booked another room directly from them figuring The Platinum and this site would work it out the following morning. Big mistake paid for 2 rooms for one night after spending another 30 minutes the next morning reviewing the problem with a manager at Platinum and this site. Being in Vegas on vacation was not worth the time I spent on this. Mistakes happen but resolving the problem was handled poorly by both this site and especially the Platinum Hotel. And I paid for their mistake in money and time.

Fairly nice stay

Would recommend Mon, May 4, 2015
The hotel was clean, nice, and fairly good price. We liked that it was close to the strip yet not as pricey. My only dislike was the required valet service for parking. I would prefer to park my own car. The first time we used the valet they misplaced our keys and it took 10 minutes to find them. Other than that annoyance, the room was great. We loved the full kitchen and jetted bath tub.
