Nice gem

I am a frequent traveler and was thrilled to find a room with NO gambling just off the main drag. This looks to be new condos that were remade into a hotel and it is very pleasant. The staff is very helpful. Parking is a little odd but they will valet. I recommend this hotel if you are in for business and prefer not to stay in the casinos. You are within walking distance to all the great ones you would ever want to visit but wake up refreshed in the morning!

Enjoyed Our Stay

Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. My room was great but a room that another person in our party was staying at had issues with the shower head. We told the front desk and it was quickly replaced that afternoon. The Stir lounge is a nice place to relax at the end of the night with no gaming bells and whistles blowing and best of all it's smoke free! Have stayed at the Platinum many times and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

A quiet sanctuary

This is my fourth time staying at the Platinum Hotel. Las Vegas can be very frenetic and noisy. For those people who want the place to get away from all the dinging of the slot machines, then this is the place for you. The suites are very large and include a full kitchen. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. The smoke-free environment is also a plus. I highly recommend the Platinum Hotel

Quiet and pleasant retreat

A 3.5. This is definitely off the Strip. With exception of an off-lobby bar, no amenities are obvious. You get the impression that you're the only guest. Very complete suite -- nice kitchen, huge bathroom, great natural light, views and balcony overlooking the cityscape. Staff is pleasant and responsive. Physical plant shows signs of wear - quirky shower and soiled armrests on chair. Like many Vegas suites, very underlit. Disaster for shaving and, I expect, make-up.

Peace & Quiet In Vegas

This is a very nice hotel with great big rooms. It was really more of an apartment than a suite. Full kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom. Very nicely appointed, clean, modern and quiet. The hotel is a 20-30 minute walk from the strip if that's important to you. Also note you have to pay for WIFI in your room but it's available free in the lobby and at the pool. You HAVE to valet your car. This is a minor inconvenience when the valet is busy, but otherwise no big deal. NO smoking NO gaming made me happy. I actually got some sleep!

Very nice layout and the people behind the counter are very helpful. Should provide free internet service. Rooms are quite and I love the no smoking policy. If I want to gamble there are several hotels. The food is extremely good and the service and the food was very good.
