Located in the center of the Strip, The Mirage Resort and Casino Las Vegas offers contemporary guest accommodations with 3,044 guest rooms and lavish suites. The huge resort is known for the "live" volcano guarding the resort's entrance. Eruptions occur hourly every night. The 20,000-gallon lobby aquarium, dolphin habitat and Siegfried and Roy-inspired Secret Gardens offer guests a reprieve from the frenzied casino floor. For your entertainment, the resort hosts performances from Cirque du Soleil Beatles LOVE, Boyz II Men and top-notch comedians as part of the Aces of Comedy series. Take a plunge in the pool or enjoy European-style bathing at the Bare Pool lounge, here at The Mirage.

See stars from the worlds of music, movies, sports and TV at Madame Tussauds, also opposite the hotel, or head a little further north for retail stores like Forever 21 and Saks Fifth Avenue at the Fashion Show Mall.

Convention trip

Went to the grand canyon, ate at bubba gumps. The motel was ok, we stayed at Aria before it was definitely a 4 star, this motel would be less than 4, even though it's rated as such. The tub didn't drain very fast, they charged me for something out of the in-room fridge, we made sure not to touch anything even near it. Had a person banging on our door in the middle of the night, had someone standing by out door one night when we returned, and had a domestic in the room next to us, people hollering at each other. But, the staff was excellent helping us out with storing our luggage and adjusting our bill. It was ok, but thought it was overpriced for what we got.

Great Hotel

Great hotel, most importantly it's centrally located in the middle of the strip and therefore close to everything.

A traveler

This is my second time at this hotel. It is a beautiful place to stay. It was located right across the street from the show I was attending. The only complaint that I have is after a whole day on my feet, I had to walk down a long hallway to get to my room. I wished they had assigned a room closer to the elevators!

Nice hotel but very busy

very busy hotel, be prepared to wait over an hr for the restaurants and the buffet closes at 9. Elevators get crowded but move fairly fast. dolphin exhibit is not included in resort fee but you may be able to see them from your room if on the pool side. Didn't know there was a rear enterence till we took a cab from down the strip. Overall our stay was good.

I'ts ok

For the cost, I don't think we'll stay here again. The room was clean, staff was rude, the mini bar in the room is a waste of space, they say you can get a fridge put in the room, but it costs for each night, and is really ugly. Overall, not worth the hype. Restaurants were very good, but the staff again was pretty terrible
