Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

The views/attractions at other hotels are stunning! Not a gambler but there is so much to do! Lots of shows. Only setback if you are a non-smoker, somewhat overwhelming. Dining very expensive.

Great hotel in center of strip

staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Couldn't find staff on floor if you had a question or needed directions. Bell hop wasn't available.

Perfect Hotel!

This hotel was in the PERFECT location for finding lots to do and not having to walk very far. It was so easy to get on the monorial to get to the far ends of the strip and not a far walk to check out the other bars at the Bellagio, Caesars, Bill's Gamblin' Hall, the Flamingo, and Treasure Island. There is so much happening in this area it was so easy to have a great time! This was my first trip to Las Vegas and I couldn't be happier with my stay at the Mirage and will certainly consider it again in a future trip!

Great location!

This is a great hotel with a great location. The pool is amazing, but you better get there early! Be prepared to pay a lot for drinks and food - especially at the pool. Large drinks are outrageously priced. There are no coffee pots in the room and the coffee shops seem VERY far away the morning after enjoying the Vegas nightlife! Overall this is a really nice place to stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Great room, wonderful service

I loved the room at The Mirage. It was luxurious and tastefully decorated and included beautiful bedding and a 42" plasma TV. Service at The Mirage is friendly, quick and professional. The noise level in the casino and the bars around the casino is something to get used to but overall, this was a very enjoyable stay. I would go back to The Mirage any time.

nice hotel,room and location

Our room was beautiful. The hotel was nice for adults but also was enjoyable for my 12 year old. We loved the pool, the dolphin habitat and the aquarium.

Vegas Vacation

Overall a very enjoyable experience. I only wish that perhaps there could have been an update on the status of the hotel on Orbitz for us to see prior to booking. Part of the pool was closed for renovation, and it was one of the reasons why we chose that particular hotel over another, so a bit disappointing to say the least, but overall a good stay.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

be sure to call the hotel directly first prior to booking online, to assure that they are not closing certain aspects of it (pool, etc.) if that is what is attracting you to that hotel in particular in the first place.

What a night!

What a fantastic bed! The mattress must of had a down pad on it and the pillows where definitely down. It was like heaven. Rooms were large and spacious. Excellent buffet.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Went to the Phantom of the Opera and it was just acrossed the street. Lot to see and do within a short distance. I like to where shoes that are comfortable to walk in, no spikes for me!

Excellent Trip!

The Mirage is the first hotel in the 'new' Las Vegas. The hotel was designed by Steve Wynn and built in 1989 but it surely doesn't show its age. The rooms have all recently been renovated, have different styles and are very clean. There are plenty of places to eat, although beverages are a bit pricey ($15 for wine, $7 for beer at the Beatles' Revolution Lounge). A bottle of soda in the gift shop was $3. Besides that, this hotel has plenty of activity when you want it, a beautiful/relaxing pool, and the rooms are very quiet when you're done for the day. There are always staff to ask questions and although the hotel is on the near-north side of the Las Vegas Strip, it doesn't take long to get anywhere. If staying at this hotel, seeing the Cirque du Soleil show LOVE is a must (it is highly recommended if staying elsewhere also). Although we didn't see Terry Fator, everyone who saw him said he was brilliant.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a Starbucks and another coffee shop inside the hotel but to save money on a cup of coffee, there is a McDonald's right across the Strip. There is also a Chipotle and Panda Express next to McDonald's for a quick and inexpensive meal.
