Efficiently run hotel

This hotel is well run, check in was efficient and front of house staff very helpful. However I booked a smoking room which I have to say was somewhat jaded. The room smelt like the old smoking room at work which was meant to discourage you smoking. I expect that at work but not in a hotel room I am renting. Recommend that the Hotel changes the air con filters more often in these rooms and cleans down the paintwork more often. I for one would be prepared to pay a bit more for this. The Casino floor area is clean, tidy and the array of machines is impressive you would be hard pushed not to find you favourite machine. The shopping facilities meet all budgets and there is a good variety. There is a good selection of restaurants catering for all tastes. My only criticism would be the all you can eat buffet which although the food was OK the layout of the serving ranges seemed to be disjointed need to do a ergonomic study into the lay out, seemed to spend a lot of time walking around the restaurant getting your meal together. Overall the Mirage is a well run hotel and offers good value for money, though I feel some investment is required to keep up with the compition

Good location but missing room comfort

I missed coffee maker and microwave in the room. Bathroom very small, but beds are very very comfy. Good ventilation in the casino is badly needed since every time you need to go to your room you have to pass the full length of the casino. Not a place for people with allergies. I'm not coming back.

Great location in the strip

It was an okay place to stay. Great location. Not crazy about the clientele though. Too loud and floats were brought in the pool.

Great return visit

We had stayed at the Mirage about 5 years ago just after they had remodeled. We were impressed that they have maintained the quality and integrity of the rooms as well as updating the casino. Staff amazingly friendly and helpful. While smoking is allowed, there is no smoky smell like some other casinos. Looking forward to another return visit!! The slot machine options were better than some competitors. Can you increase the payouts????

The Mirage is ideally located for shopping as well as shows and visits to other casinos. If not in-house, many options are within easy walking distance and the tram to TI really helps!! Pricing is definitely a winner for the location!!! Also, lots of kid activity.

Great place for a stay on the Strip!

My 13th time to Vegas but my first at the Mirage and I was really impressed with the atmosphere and location of the Mirage. Good choice of food and drink options and possibly the best location on the strip with easy access to another 6 high quality casino's. Being mega critical the rooms could possibly do with updating a touch but I am splitting hairs.
