Quiet Location
This was a very nice hotel not on the strip. It was relatively quiet with little traffic. I stayed in a two bedroom unit and found the space to be large and more than adequate for my stay. The jaccui that came with the room was excellent.

Nice
Everything about this hotel was great except for the parking. It was very difficult to find a parking space close to our hotel on both nights and we had to go quite a way to find a parking space and then walk quite a way to the hotel.

Only 2 things negatives
The Grandview in Las Vegas was great!! The only things that I disliked were that there was no service elevator for the staff, so when the rooms were being cleaned you had to wait forever to get an elevator and the service staff had radios to stay in touch with each other that were extemely loud. (You could hear everything said from the room next door). Also, there were blackout curtains in the living area but none in the bedroom and the blinds let in too much sun in the early morning. The room was clean and beautiful and I loved the property and plan on staying there again.

Would Stay There Again
The staff was very accomodating. Check-in was relatively simple. The room was ready by 11:00am. It was very clean and comfortable. There wasn't a restaurant on the premises but the South Point Casino Resort in right across the street. They have eight restaurants incuding a terrific deli, steak house and Italian restaurant. They only clean the room one time during a week stay but will bring clean towels. They have a hot tub in the bedroom area. Past reviews warned of noise from the pool area and constuction. We were right in front of the pool and it was quiet at night. I could not hear the construction at all and we stayed in the Primrose bldg. There was a little noise from the floor above, but not too bad. It was far from the Strip and there is no shuttle so seriously think about renting a car. The Soute Point will not allow you to ride their shuttle if you are not a guest. The cab fare was $25.00 one way to New York New York. There is a city bus, but you have to go all to way down town to catch another one to the Strip. The concierge estimated 1-3/4 hours. There is a small convienence store by the pool and a small snack bar but the nearest grocery store is over a mile away. They allowed us to have an extended check out of 12:00 noon instead of the early 10:00am. It was a nice place to stay if you don't mind being away from the Strip ane the casino next store in pretty nice.

Lots of space
The Grandview at Las Vegas has plenty of room and nice furnishings and a very comfortable bed. There were black out curtains in the livingroom but not the bedroom so we were woke up by 5am with the sun. Also we stayed 10 days and didn't get any maid service at all, if you want clean towells you have to raid the maids cart, no one offered to change out sheets. The floor left our socks black from dirt(even though they looked clean) so they really needed to be mopped in between guest. The parking is really limited and sometimes you have to park quite a distance away,we asked them about this and the hotel representive said they would rather put up a new building because the make money off rooms not parking garages. This is a timeshare so they do try and sell but you can always say no. I suggest that you rent a car because it is way to far from the main strip. We would probably stay at The Grandview again, but not for as long a time.

VERY NICE AMENITIES
The off-Strip location was pleasant and inviting, not to mention South Point's proximity to the Grandview (which was only walking distance away). The hotel rooms are neat and organized, as well as the hallways and the lobby. It's easy to tell that the owners are serious about providing a great travel experience for visitors.

Great for families
We have stayed @ the Grandview many times since it has opened. Great place for families. The 2 bedroom sleeps 8 comfortably and with 2 bathrooms the wait is non existant. South Point Casino is right next door. You can also find movie theatres and bowling for the under 21.
