The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas lives up to its celebrity reputation -Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber have both been known to grace its hallways- with dazzling contemporary decor and dizzying views of the Nevada city. Inside, underwater motifs are back-lit on the glass pillars, and there's even the eye-catching curio of a giant Steampunk-style shoe in the convention center. Make the most of your stay by reenergizing your body at one of three themed pools, from beach retreat to yacht club. Or simply kick back, Middle-Eastern-style, at the distinctive Sahra Spa & Hammam. Placing bets here doesn't stop at the gaming tables, with the on-site wagering center, Race & Sports Book by Cantor, delivering widescreen views of all the sporting action.

Great for young people who just want to have fun

Staff was ok not too accommodating. I had to wait 30 mins for my room to be finished being cleaned before I checked in. Room was ok it took an hr to get my bags sent up. Hall ways were old and looked out dated. I thought the rooms would be nicer but there were pretty average. I stayed in the one bedroom

Not an honest blackjack game to be found

Beautiful place, good urban atmosphere, great pools, but the blackjack games were poor. Multi deck games and questionable rules make for make for losing odds for an average player. I could not find any single deck blackjack games with fair rules. Do not play blackjack here. Also could not get a shuttle to the airport and was stuck wasting money on a Taxi.

Comfortable room

Overall, everything was fine. Just a few complaints - (1) I was downgraded to a room one step below the one I had originally booked. They didn't offer to refund the difference in room rates, which I think is unacceptable. (2) Restaurants weren't that great and room service food was poor. Otherwise, the room was elegant, comfortable, great view, hotel had fun atmosphere.

Great Location, New/Modern Hotel

Pros: * Perfect location on the strip with many of the rooms overlooking the famous Bellagio Water Fountain show. * One of the best buffets in Vegas "The Wooden Spoon" * Very tasteful modern (and new) decor Cons: * The only real con was that our room wasn't ready, and when we were given a room, it was half dirty and had a horrible smell. The front desk manager did upgrade us to a better room, and gave us $75 in food credit which was appreciated.

There are many other hotels within close proximity to The Cosmo. Save of cabs and take advantage of the many pedestrian walkways across the strip.

I would not go back

First let me preface this review by saying the hotel staff were great. All were very helpful and kind. They took the time to answer all of my questions and give me great restaurant advice. However, it appears this hotel caters to a very young population although I must admit that I visited over the Labor day - so perhaps there were more than normal given the holiday. I'm a young professional myself, but was not impressed by the young 20 something’s running down the hallway to their hotel while screaming. The guy passed out on the carpet in front of his hotel room, two doors down from me – didn’t help either. I also had to step over french fries in the hallway to get to my door. Disgusting. Otherwise, the facilities were okay and the lobby is nothing to write home about. Bottom line, if you are young professional looking for a more up-scale experience -without the drunk 20 years olds - go to Aria.
