Wonderful weekend

I had a fantastic time the 2 nights I stayed here. The hotel is located in a great spot on the strip that made it easy to get around to other locations when I had shows to go to. The Chandelier bar is awesome and has tons of really great unique drinks. The room itself was absolutely amazing. I stayed in a wraparound terrace suite and it had everything I had hoped for - an amazing bathroom, perfect bed, and great views. Will absolutely be staying here again.

A Class Act All Around

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay here. I'll start with the basics: the location (in my opinion) is about as good as it gets. You're pretty much right in the middle of the strip so walking up or down isn't too much of a pain. We stayed in January, which I much prefer to the hot, crowded summer months. The Cosmopolitan is so carefully designed, detailed, and constructed, your really feel as if every detail about the place was carefully thought out. Every room you walk into is beautiful. The shower/bathroom area in our room (we got upgraded to a 1 bedroom w/ a terrace) was just phenomenal. There isn't nearly as many shops or restaurants in the hotel as some of the mega resorts (Venetian, Caesars, etc.) but there is a decent amount. Try out Holsteins for a delicious burger; we ate there twice. The only part I was disappointed with was Marquee (the nightclub inside the hotel), but as with most nightclubs, it is actually not owned or operated by the hotel itself, so I can't fault the cosmopolitan for that. Overall, I recommend very highly.

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

Tip the person checking you in $20 and get ready to get upgraded. I've used this trick 3 times now and it's worked every time. We got upgraded for a normal room to a 1 bedroom suite with a terrace, a wet bar in the room, microwave, and about twice the size for no extra cost.

Great experience

This was our second stay at the Cosmo. The quality of the rooms, as well as the size of the rooms and balconies are outstanding for the price. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We received an upgraded view of the Bellagio fountain that was fantastic. The only minor drawback is the long, narrow casino, which unfortunately is a product of the overall shape of the resort property. Again, a minor point. Overall, two excellent experiences.

5 Star Experience on the Strip

We had high expectations for this hotel and I must say they were met. I left there feeling like we had experienced and paid for a 5 star hotel. I don't know how often one will want to pay that kind of $$ for such a hotel but if the event calls for such accommodations, this is the choice to make

Rent a car in Vegas. The rentals are dirt cheap, the parking is free at every hotel on the strip and more often than not you can use the roads behind the hotels to navigate your way around thus avoiding LV Blvd.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

My favorite club on the strip! Marquee is where you go when you want to party hard. Great music, lots of places to hang out, good crowd, strong drinks! The patio is tented in the winter and I wish more clubs would do this. Its a pain to get in, 5 lines at the front door, 3 lines upstairs, who knows what elsewhere. The best video and laser show and the best waitress'

the best

It was excellent. My second time there and no better place to stay on the strip then Cosmo. The vide is perfect, young, beautiful and a great ambiance. The rooms are incredible with an unreal view of the cities lights. The showers and bathtub are amazing. The bars are terrific and one of the best Sushi and steakhouses around. The shopping is great and cannot recommend a better place to stay. Its the only place I will stay in Vegas.
