I was in Las Vegas at a convention for three days. The convention was being held at one of the Hotels on the strip but the "discounted" room rate seemed high, so I decided to see what I could find for myself. I wanted something withing walking
distance so I was limited. The Hotel was great, the check in (on a Saturday) did take about 20 minutes but I was able to check in at 12:30, my room was clean, comfortable and everything worked. Room service cleaned the room every day and was stay was quiet, I did not see any on the negatives that have been spoken about by other posters. It seems any issues that they had have been rectified.
The night we arrived the music was booming...on the 36th floor we could still hear the techno beat in our room. The front desk sent up earplugs which helped but even just walking through the casino and lobby...everything was always so loud.
Definitely a younger crowd....we were much more comfortable over at Balleys and Ceasars for gambling.
I just needed to get the heck out of town and have the option of simply relaxing or running all over creation, so I chose the Cosmopolitan. I have to say this was one of the best hotel rooms I've been in in Vegas. The room was big, clean, and well
designed. There was the couch and several quite comfortable chairs. I was pleasantly surprised by the random (but interesting) coffee table books sitting out. The dressing area was beautiful and had great details. The dressing area led into the bathroom where the highlights were the tiled in shower and the soaking tub up against the window. The bedroom was simply adorned but incredibly comfortable. I did take a couple accidental naps because the bed was so nice. And then the large private Balcony overlooking the Belaggio fountains was fantastic. The room was everything the pictures online suggested and more! I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return because I know I didn't get to discover half of what this resort has to offer.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
There are fabulous designer stores just a simple stroll away whether you hit the Crystals or the Belaggio.
I booked a suite for the bride-to-be. It was a fantastic room with many amenities...fully furnished kitchenette with refrigerator, lovely bathroom, great bed, It was perfect. The girls played games and ate snacks. We were near the pool, cabanas,
and clubs for partying during the weekend. I would highly recommend staying here.
Beautiful place, good urban atmosphere, great pools, but the blackjack games were poor. Multi deck games and questionable rules make for make for losing odds for an average player. I could not find any single deck blackjack games with fair rules.
Do not play blackjack here.
Also could not get a shuttle to the airport and was stuck wasting money on a Taxi.
