The worst 4 star hotel service ever
I travel a lot because of my work (Hong Kong, Korea, Mexico, Canada and the US mainly). I normally choose 4 or 5 star hotels. This is personally the worst experience I've ever had. 1) They didn't clean the room in 4 days, and when I asked them to do so they refused arguing that only if my stay was longer than a week they would do so. If I wanted to have my room cleaned I would have to pay (some ridiculous amount like 35 or 45 USD per night). 2) You are not allowed to access any of the pools-probably the best thing they have-after 4:30 p.m. 3) I made a couple of international calls from my room (One to China and one to Mexico) and paid more than 10 dollars per minute (more than at any 5 star hotel I've ever been). 4) People who stay for a few days end up throwing their garbage bags in the halls, as The Tahiti Resort's service wouldn't include taking the garbage out of the room...

Customer Service Last
found out after check in they don't offer Housekeeping until you're there 4 days...I told clerk it was our 31st Anniversary and we were hoping for clean linens and trash pick up daily but was told they don't offer those services as, they are a "RESORT". (really? don't Caesar's RESORT and Bally's RESORT and MGM RESORT and all the rest offer Housekeeping daily?) I asked it they would let us check out early, "NO" asked the Manager on duty, "NO" called the General Manager, "NO". pretty much ruined our Anniversary! I found them to be absolutely un-bending. I suppose they could have offered a "DISCOUNT FOR OUR NEXT STAY" (not that i would have) or perhaps a cheap bottle of wine from the gift shop, or maybe even just a little note of apology before we left? NOTHING--------maximize profit first and Customer Service last seems to be the routine. Our view of the "STRIP" was just a dirt lot with a bunch of Buses and the Strip off in the background. When we checked and was this, we asked if we could change to a Pool View but, "sorry, they are all smoking rooms". will never stay there again.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
eat or drink anywhere BUT the "resort". the first hour there, went up to Tahiti Joe's for a drink with the wife and asked for a table...was told "you'll probably get served a lot faster at the Bar!" (insert snotty attitude here).

Fool's Gold
The web page for this resort looks wonderful but the real deal is quite different! Check in staff was very nice and helpful but that is where it stops. I picked this resort because I had children and grandchildren with me and the pool and lazy river looked fun with great hours listed on the web page ( 10am - 10pm) both supposedly heated. Unfortunately their winter hours are 10am - 4:30pm. They kept the pool at 72 and the river at 80. The furniture in the rooms wasn't even as nice as a lower end motel! The towels and sheets looked as if they have had come from a thrift store! Check in is 4pm and Check out is 10am! The rates don't even match their service or room comfort. They only give room service if you are there for 7 days and then only on day 3!! I had to pay to extend our check out time only to find that they had forgotten to extend our keys. We stood in the hallway for 20 mins in wet bathing suits waiting for security to come and unlock our doors! Will not be staying here again!!!!!!!

Dirty Rooms
We checked into our rooms on a Monday evening with intentions of staying through Thursday morning. The hallways smelled like everyone's dinner that they were making in their rooms and our room was dirty. The microwave looked like it hadn't been wiped in weeks, there was all kinds of hair, dirt & items on the bathroom floor. The bed sheets were stained and the carpets were not vacuumed well at all. They don't clean the rooms on a daily basis and that made the situation even worse. I tried to cancel my reservation with the property to leave but they would not credit my money back since I didn't give them a 48 hour notice even though the online company who booked my stay was willing to help me with the situation. I'm not sure how I was suppose to know 48 hours PRIOR to arriving that my room would be THIS BAD. We left anyway and stayed at another hotel the rest of the time. The lady at the desk tried to apologize but blamed it on the "property owners" since this was a time share facility. I won't be back & I will never recommend this hotel to any friends or family or enemies to stay here.

Tahiti village
The facility has no wireless access and unless yopu are willing to download a program into your computer for a daily fee - no computer access except the 2 airport-type pay terminals available in the lobby. While the large suite that half our party stayed in was comfortable, the smaller "kitchenette" suite twice had smell problems stemming from the garboretor and a stained sofa sleeper. That said, the maintenance guys were very quick in remedying the issues.

Don't think we will come back.
Staff was not real friendly. It seemed they were put out if you needed help. ie: my keys did not work 2 different times. And no I did not have them near my phone or other cards. The room was clean but the TV's are the worst and the batteries in the controls were dead. the phone in seating also did not work. Old stuff and a lot of unhappy workers. Sorry

Room was nice not great. Don't expect anything spectacular booking through online site. Front desk even said you are online customer. House keeping during your trip cost extra so be prepared to do your own cleaning.
