good for escape with family

This was extremely convenient for the airport. Not the best if you want to be in the middle of the action in vegas, but great for a family or for looking for a couple days off from crazy business travel. 10 minutes from the airport and the center of the strip.

couple get away

When me and my husband arrived at check in, there was no one in line and the lady that helped took about 30 min checking us in. I was about to cancel reservatiin and go somewhere else. She was super slow. Other than that thw room was very clean and comfy. Just an okay experience. Parking sucks on weekends.

Fabulous place, no complaints here

I don't usually give a hotel/resort full marks. There is always something wrong. However everything thing at the Tahiti Village was fantastic. The rooms are huge and have bedroom, livingroom and kitchenettes. The pool was heated and the lazy river relaxing. Shuttle service to the Strip was convenient for us gamblers. Hotel staff very professional. We would like to go back next year and just stay at the resort for a week.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Denny's usually gets a bad rap but the one attached to the resort was great. Hearty breakfasts and even prime rib dinners for the late night eaters. A+++ for this Denny's.

Las Vegas get away

The staff were great. The bed was very comfortable. The living room area (couch) was a bit shabby & the carpet didn't look clean but the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen areas were very nice. The pools were great. Easy access to the strip & airport.

Great for Families

First family trip to LV. The drab brown sofabed was a joke - just a bunch of coils, barely any padding. Can't believe they have guests sleep on it. Tiny fridge and microwave in the kitchenette. But the outdoor area - pool, lazy river and activity center were great - made up for the bed issue.

Traveling with kids

One night stay while traveling with kids. Nice place not overrun with smoke drink and gambling. If you want those, there is a shuttle that takes you to the strip every half hour. Clean, comfortable, large room. Check out was 10 am, but we were given a key to the pool area for the rest of the day. Stayed till 2 enjoying the pools which were nice. I am frugal... It was worth it.

Nice place away from the Strip.

We enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Pool, hot tubs and lazy river were great. Get to the pool early to get the best chairs on the north side of the pool. We used the shuttle service to get down to the Strip, but plan ahead as it is sometimes full for this and other activities. Rented a car and hit Hoover Dam which was an easy drive only 30 minutes away. Would've like a shuttle from and to the airport. Would stay here again unless we found a smoking deal on the strip.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

It's about $20 for a taxi from or to the airport. We rented a car for $40 a couple blocks from the village the day before we left and hit the sites away from town or that the shuttle service didn't run to, and then dropped it off on the morning of our flight saving the taxi cost.
