So much for resting
First of all, the building I was staying in had tons of water, electrical and phone issues. The Jack hammering outside my window at 8am didn't help either. No bottle water by the pool allowed and the staff didn't seem to care much for their jobs or their customers. I was in a completely different building from my group. The cleaning staff blare their dance music while cleaning at 7 am with the doors open. Not a very relaxing place. Very dated decor and the blanket on the bed was thread bare and stunk.

Great for Families
Our room was very clean, but the common areas were dirty, fingerprints on glass, hot tub area with trash, carpet worn and dirty, elevator areas with dirty walls. It would be great if you had children, lots of amenities for families but as a couple of empty nesters, not that great. Maid service is only once a week, not a big deal, except for trash, etc... Employees were AWESOME! Liked the room and liked being at the very end of the strip, less noise and traffic.

wonderful trip
I have nothing but good things to say about Tahiti Village!, except a few minor wishes. I wish the pool would have stayed open later to accomidate all the late nights on the strip. We weren't back to the hotel once before 8 to make it to the pool. Second wish is that the shuttle to the strip covered more locations and maybe one that goes downtown would have been nice. Other than these wishes, everything was great.

Great place for big family
We stayed in the big double room and it was great!! The lazy river was warm and a lot of fun, the pool was nice with the sandy bottom and little sandy beach. The location of the hotel is nice also, as it is close to downtown, but far enough away that you get some rest. I also enjoyed that they did not have a casino in the hotel. Very family friendly, we will definitively come back to this hotel in the future.

Fool's Gold
The web page for this resort looks wonderful but the real deal is quite different! Check in staff was very nice and helpful but that is where it stops. I picked this resort because I had children and grandchildren with me and the pool and lazy river looked fun with great hours listed on the web page ( 10am - 10pm) both supposedly heated. Unfortunately their winter hours are 10am - 4:30pm. They kept the pool at 72 and the river at 80. The furniture in the rooms wasn't even as nice as a lower end motel! The towels and sheets looked as if they have had come from a thrift store! Check in is 4pm and Check out is 10am! The rates don't even match their service or room comfort. They only give room service if you are there for 7 days and then only on day 3!! I had to pay to extend our check out time only to find that they had forgotten to extend our keys. We stood in the hallway for 20 mins in wet bathing suits waiting for security to come and unlock our doors! Will not be staying here again!!!!!!!

bath sink is blocked, wifi is awful!
First of all, the room is huge with Kitchen. I really like it. However, when I use the bath sink, the water is not going through. Moreover, while taking the shower, the floor is not even so the water flows outside and wet the carpet. There is no Wifi in room, but I can take it. When I go to the lobby, the wifi is really awful. It disconnect every min. You also have to take a cab to the facility.

More minuses than pluses
First, they don't tell you when you make the reservation that there is a nightly resort fee. This adds up quick and since this place is a few miles from the strip you will probably have a car so the shuttle to the casinos included in the resort fee isn't much use. The one thing I tried to use that is included in the resort fee, WiFi, is only available in the lobby and just barely. The lobby attendant told me you have to sit in a certain hallway for the best reception and I was still getting bumped off. The first night you arrive, they only give you a one day parking pass and make you return the next day for a pass for the remainder of your stay. Why? The room does have a microwave and small refrigerator. The room we got was a suite with a queen size bed and fold out couch. The mattresses on both were very uncomfortable. The room was clean, the towels and sheets were clean but everything was old appearing. The sheets and towels looked like they had been washed and dried way beyond their life expectancy. The front door would only open if you first pulled it closed hard. The front desk staff overall just seemed like they were annoyed with any questions or concerns. When I asked why I wasn't told about the resort fee, I was told I did not read the fine print. The one thing this place has over other hotels is the swimming area. My kids really liked the lazy river. Overall, the reason we thought we would like to stay away from the usual hotel casinos is for more amenities. This hotel doesn't have that special something. The swimming area was the only plus to me. The aged room, uncomfortable beds, disinterested staff, internet that only worked in the lobby (barely) and the resort fee really turned me off. I can't recommend it.

Vegas Revisited
It was good to see and do Vegas again. We hadn't been there it the last five years. It was our first time at the Tahiti village and it was great. Much better than a hotel. We had the single condo side and it felt like having two hotel rooms together. It was close to the big hotels and casinos. Shopping across the street. Restaurants on site and across the street. The pool even had a sandy beach. Loved it all.
