Okay off the strip

I went for business purposes, with an event in the hotel, and there was no problem with that. Restaurants have little to no food for health conscious eaters, and the smoke in the lobby/gaming floor is not lung-friendly, but there's a lot of that in Las Vegas. I don't gamble, so can't judge the gaming tables. The room was nice enough, and the staff friendly and helpful.

Avoid ordering an omelet from the Siena Cafe. I've never seen omelets made this way, and don't ever want to see it again.

Off strip bargain

We stayed at the hotel on the recommendation of local people as a good budget deal for visiting in the local area and having stayed there felt this was good advice. Rooms were large and well equipped and would be even better value if you were travelling as a family (two queen beds). My only gripe was having to walk through the casino area and the cigarette smoke to get to the room. It is some way from the strip, so you would need a car, but the road system is good and you can get downtown easily.

Nothing to Rave About, but Not Much to Complain About Either

As an ex-smoker spoiled by smoke-free air in public spaces in my home state, being assailed by smoke-stink from the instant I walked through the front door until I got to the elevator on the other side of the gaming tables was unpleasant in the extreme. And it doesn't help that even though the restaurant I ate breakfast in was a no smoking area, there are no walls between it and the gaming area, so the smoke wafts in there as well. I ate only breakfast, but the best that could be said for the food is that it was edible.
