The Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower is a five-time winner of the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Best of Las Vegas Readers Poll in 2014. The Stratosphere Tower took home Best Place to View the City. Its burlesque performers won Best Showgirls and its Top of the World restaurant won Best Fine Dining Restaurant and Best Restaurant with a View. To top it off, the Stratosphere's Level 107 won the award for Best Lounge. Situated right in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip, the Stratosphere Tower offers unrivaled views of Sin City and tons of amenities including a rooftop swimming pool, a gym and a full-service spa.

Location
Situated roughly halfway between the hustle and bustle of 'new' Vegas, with state-of-the-art complexes such as CityCenter, and classic 'old' Vegas - the city from the Bugsy Siegel era - the Stratosphere provides guests with the best of both worlds. Mix the glamor of 'The Strip' with the old-time romance of Fremont Street, and witness an amazing, overhead, free light show occurring every evening.
Highlights

Along with its iconic tower, visible throughout the valley, the Stratosphere boasts an outdoor pool, a casino with the full gamut of table games and video slot machines, a popular nightclub and bars. In the spirit of Las Vegas magicians Penn & Teller, the magic shop downstairs offers tricks for illusionists of all ages. All guests receive free keys to the tower and a free ride on the SkyJump, a controlled free fall from the 108th floor fast enough to blur neon. The Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower has fine dining, great gaming and death-defying thrill rides, all within a short drive of classic Downtown and Fremont Street attractions like the Arts District and the Smith Center for the Performing Arts in nearby Symphony Park.

Fees

The property charges a Resort Fee of $17.99 USD plus 12% tax per room, per night for a total of $20.15 USD. Amenities include unlimited admission for up to 4 guests per room to the Stratosphere Tower's indoor and outdoor observation decks, use of the fitness centre and seasonal pool and parking (valet or covered self-park available).

Policies
Stratosphere's Air Bar is currently the highest bar in the city - at 800 feet - and offers views across the infamous Vegas skyline, but you will require a reservation, because access can be tricky on busy nights. If a rebellious alternative is more your thing, why not simply drop down just one floor to the Level 107 Lounge? Enjoy the same vista over 'bright light city' without the crowds.

This is not a comprehensive list of fees. Any amounts listed above may not include taxes and are subject to change.

My birthday vacation

The hotel was fine. The concierge desk talked us out of seeing an actual burlesque show and told us to see Pinup. We were told it was the best burlesque in town and it wasn't really a burlesque show at all. We also got seated separately at small tables and were told we could not sit at a booth even though one of us has a bad back and needed the booth

Cool trip

Vegas is awesome but very expensive, I traveled on my own so the Stratosphere was a very good choice. Great value for money. It is located at the end of the strip but there is a bus stop right in front so you just go out and take the bus that will take you in around 30 min to where all the fun is and of course the bus will take you back so there is no problem in coming back at 5 or 6 am when the party is over The casino is just ok The only detail was that when I first checked in I wanted to take a shower but there was no water in the hotel but they fixed it in around 20 min. I would totally recommend it

could have been better - first time in vegas

I was in town with my fiancé. This was our first time to Vegas. The trip was a surprise for her birthday and I wanted her to have a great time. here is some basic information: Stratosphere is the furthest stop from the airport for the shuttle. It is not along the mono-rail (We didn't know they had one.) But its about half a mile from the entrance to SLS which is the north most stop. The casino smells like stale smoke and as a non-smoker from a damper climate it made me cough every time I walked in. The floor is played out with the casino on the bottom floor like most. Second floor is the shops and the entrance to the upper levels and club. The club at the top is kind of lame. It has a great view and from what I understand its hopping during the day or evening. We went there at about 11pm and there were about 15-20 people there total including staff who weren't very attentive. After 20 minutes of not being approached we decided to leave: we aren't really a lounge couple so take that as you will. The view at the top was as spectacular as everyone said it was at night. The restaurant there looked good and had a great view-though we didn't partake so I can't give more info than this. There is a new Walgreens and a Bonanza souvenir shop within a five minute walk of the entrance. Both sell liquor so if you want to make drinks in your room you are half way there. The room we were in had no fridge or microwave. It didn't advertise one but be aware.
