twas ok
the one thing though that i was sorely dissapointed in was the tvs in the room. they were the old clunky boxy televisions. i mean seriously, i thought there'd be flat screen tvs. and not only that, the reception in the tv in my living room was awful. it was grainy. so in a nutshell, i gave the stratosphere a 7 outta 10. nothing extraordinary to write home about

Great place to stay
The room was very nice. The beds very comfortable. My daughter stayed with me in the room. Had two queen size beds. We liked the big vanity space for doing our hair and makeup. My son also went, he had a room on the floor below us. We went to Vegas to celebrate his and my birthdays. We would stay there again.

Great customer service
Every time I stay at the Stratosphere it is a great experience. I think it is great how well I am treated when I check in. I have to say the rooms are always a decent price, and are always clean! Keep up the good work.

Unfriendly Staff
The Stratosphere's staff was very unfriendly. They acted like it was ana imposition to take care of you. When I arrived at the hotel, and went to check in, the desk clerk was very rude. I am a restaurant manager and I know how important customer service is. This hotel is sorely lacking good customer service.I found this to be true through out the casino with the staff there. I visited several other casinos on the strip and felt that the staff there was very friendly and helpful.

turning 50 at the stratasphere
we came to vegas for my husbands 50th bday we had a fabulous time , the hotel was great very clean and finally a soft bed in a motel i thought for sure after a week my back would be killing me like it usually does when i not in my own bed but it didnt when we come back and it will be soon we will definaltely stay there again hats off to the top of the world returant for making his baday so special and fabulous meal ////

Good Value for the Money
The Stratosphere is a Good overall value for the money. The hotel is located at the far end of the strip--heading towards downtown. However, public transportation is available in front of the hotel and there is also a monorail that starts at the Sahara hotel, which is just across the street. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. There is adequate security as guards are posted at the elevators to ensure that only guests go up to the rooms. The rooms are clean but a bit dated--especially the bathroom which consisted of a separate vanity area and a small fiberglass tub/shower enclosure (no tile, ceramic or marble, unfortunately). The pool area is inconvenient as access is only available from a certain floor and you have to hike a long trek to get there. The buffet is clean and adequate. The resident topless show, Bite, is a bit corny and the seating is awkward as viewers are seated at round tables, facing each other, and are forced to turn their chairs to view the show. A highlight of my trip was having dinner at the Top of the World restaurant located on one of the highest tower floors. The restaurant, which rotates slowly a full 360 degrees, is a bit pricey but the staff is friendly and the view--especially at night--is second to none. A meal there will make any occasion special! Overall, I found my stay at the Stratosphere pleasant and felt that it was a good value for the money.

My review of Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower
Having never been to Las Vegas,we took a chance on picking a hotel to stay at. We both feel that we made a good choice! The room was great. It was quite big & the bathroom was large. The staff, from the front end to the chambermaids, were very friendly & helpful. We ate @ 3 of the hotels restaurants & found the food good. I was also very pleased to find a guest laundramat in the hotel that was for free! I'm not sure if this is common in the States, but here in Canada, it isn't. We both agree that not only would we stay there again, but we'd recommend it to friends(we already have)!
