Too far away
The Stratosphere Hotel and Casino provided an above average experience. The Hotel was fine - we did change our room after the first night mainly due to the non-existent view from our window. The hotel was friendly and helpful in providing us with another room. The Tower Restaurant was very good - we enjoyed a very nice lunch and the revolving view of Las Vegas. Lucky's Restaurant was also good - good breakfast! The casino was fine - a little smokey for our taste (we do not smoke). The casino staff and dealers were friendly. This was our first trip to Vegas in many years and we did not realize how far from the other Hotels and Casinos we would be located. We had to take a cab or bus to get to the other casinos.

Not good
The sink was backed up. There were roaches in the room. The help for the McDonald's was rude. It was expensive to purchase anything in the hotel. I won't go back.

Smoky Casino Floors, small Bed rooms
The Stratosphere rooms are comparatively smaller, the check-in is usually crowded with a long line during holidays. Check-out can be done on the phone. The casino floors are very smoky. The rooms were kept very clean. The location is far north end of the Strip. So a long ride to the main part of the Strip. Walking may not be an option from here.

Need more elevators
Overall is OK. I give a grade B. One big problem is elevators. Everyday, it takes about 5 - 10 mins just to wait for an elevator to come either up or down. When it comes, it is full and you have to wait for the next one. Not all elevators are operating. Need to improve for sure!

all right
The food in the stratosphere was a little expensive but very good. Th buffet was not what you would expect in las vegas, it has gone down. The room was ok if you like to see the top of the roof, their was no in room coffee pots or anything else. The first night was terrible due to guest next door making alot of noise and trying to come thru the wall.

Need to work on getting what you ask for
The room was really good but I think that when they say premium view that they should give you your moneys worth not a view of the parking garage.

Very Family friendly
The Stratosphere hotel is the fun place to stay in Las vegas. Very easy to find, as it's Tower is the tallest in vegas. Also important part is Tower entry to the hotel guests is complimentry which is one of the advantage. Very comfy beds and clean rooms.

Very Friendly Place
very clean place,everything is there no need to go any where else. food was alsome. the service was great, the rooms are a nice size lots of room and the view from each side was good. the first time i stayed there i had the strip view and i have never seen anything like that before. this time i could see the montains. but next time i stay i will ask for the strip side if they have a room. i have told my friends about the motel and some of us will be making plans in the furture. i will be back.

no need to go any where for something to eat u have it all right there roxx's diner 1 of the best places to eat and the singing was great. for breakfast wow the cornbeef hash it was super.

Hope there is not a fire
All was well until the last day when I tried to go down the elevator at check out time. I waited thru 8 down elevators then about 10 of us decided to walk down the 14 flights of stairs. Some were carrying luggage. At the 4 th floor came to a dead end with both exit doors locked and no way out. We found a freight elevator on that floor then walked around the outside of the building to get to the lobby. I am glad I didnt know that I would have been trapped if there had been a fire.

Plenty to do
The Stratosphere was a nice place to stay. Plenty to do, discounts on shows and the casino was nice enough that we didnt need to travel to other casinos. If you dont mind spending money the Top of the World restaraunt was great. Food was good and the atmosphere was amazing. Would recommend to anyone.
