Dirty Hotel
The Stratosphere in Vegas was in a very bad section of town. People were constantly begging for money. Then the hotel itself was a very bad value for your money. The comforter on the bed smelled really bad like it was never washed and the room itself appeared dirty. The check in line was extremely long even at 11:30 pm. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Rude Awakening
This was our first visit to Las Vegas, the first night was ok, but the second night at the hotel we were woke up at 1am by hotel personel telling us we were not registered to our room, we had to prove who we were and they had to verify everything we said. How do they think we got in our room if they had not given us a key, after all of that we were to mad to go back to sleep, very disappointed in this hotel, Will never go there again.

Great price, but not worth a dime of it.
The Stratosphere hotel was horrible!!! We checked in and the lady at the front desk was VERY rude. She seemed irritated when we asked how we got up to our room. We didn't know where to go and no one wanted to help. Than we got to the room and it was disgusting. It was a non-smoking room, but you couldn't tell because the smell was RANCID. They didn't empty the trash in the bathroom it was still dirty from the people who stayed their before us. They had restaurants in the hotel/casino, but they weren't worth the money and it was just a horrible expierience all together.

Not A Good Vegas Room First Impression!
DIsappointed. When you think of Vegas strip hotels you think glamour and neat. The rooms were very small and plain and old fashioned compared to other Vegas rooms where I have stayed.

The next day took * hours and 4 phone calls to get romm cleaned. I will never stay at hotel again and regret i decided on it in first place.

OMG - Bring a Fat Wallet and Low Expectations
I felt that I was no different than someone coming off the street to use the bathroom. First, their Hot Tub was not even warm - we spoke to the pool manager and the next day the temperature was increased, to just barely warm - over a 4 day period, 90 degrees outside and the hottub was cooler than the outside temperature. We spent most of our bedtime hours trying to figure out how we continually heard the elevators - especially since we were on another section of walls about 100 feet down the hall from them - but I sure knew what TV show the person next door was watching. Attempting to get directions or information required us to go to someone at the Bell Stand - no one else would help us unless we wanted to stand in line with everyone checking in. The hotel rooms were pretty clean and orderly, but we had to go downstairs to borrow a pen and paper. Local calls are charged, wireless internet service is $10 a day (barely 56k response from it), restaurants were overpriced, Diet Pepsi 20oz bottle $2.75 (with discount), and timeshare salespeople all over the place. Oh, and the slot machines were tight, tight, tight. Forget about visiting the tower - you pay the same as Nevada residents and yes - you have to pay even though you have a room, and you have to stand in line to go.
