Couples Retreat

Stratosphere was a good place to stay. Good location and not right on the strip! Had our own car so we did a lot of sight seeing. Plenty of parking, the only issue we had was the crazy walk through the entire casino with your luggage to check in and the walk through the casino to get to your car or anywhere else. Also wish they offered more at the casino for their guests, half price rides or even 1 free ride. Rides on the top were very expensive. All in all we had a great time and the Stratosphere was a good place to stay!

A Getaway from my normal humdrum life in Omaha

I enjoyed my stay at the Stratosphere very much. My room was kept clean and orderly, and i was supplied with enough soap and shampoo to meet my needs. On this trip, i didn't use the internet connection, but i might during a stay in the future. The greatest strength of the Stratosphere was the friendliness, warmth, and respectfulness of the staff. From desk clerks to concierge to restaurant waiters and bartenders, i was made to feel welcome and my business appreciated. It is perhaps ironic that in Las Vegas, which is regarded as a city indulging in sin, i was called "Mr." routiinely, which is a level of respect i often don't get from people less than half my age back home in a "moral" city. (That happened both with hotel staff and other vendors in other establishments along Las Vegas Blvd.)

The red velvet cake in Fellini's inside the hotel is very rich and delicious. It's not cheap, but it's worth it!

North end but still fun

Yes the Stratosphere is not right on the main street of the strip but it is still fun. You are only about a 5 min walk to the Light Rail or 20 min walk to Fashion Show Mall. The Casino is very clean and the staff is wonderful. The Pool Staff is beyond fantastic, and will make sure you are always taken care of.

All went very well. Check-in & Check-out. Buffet dinner was very good. Only issue I had was the casino was very smoke heavy. Need to increase airflow to the spaces.

A place to sleep

I was in Vegas for a wedding and spent most of my time away from the hotel. However, I did use the gym which was in need of some TLC. The pool and poolside atmosphere were very nice. The room was spacious, a bit dark/gloomy, and I did hear neighbors occasionally. Good water pressure in the shower. Extra pillows on the bed. I ate breakfast at the Roxy in the lobby. Friendly waitresses and fast service. Good deal if you're looking for a place to sleep. p.s. I did not visit the tower or any of its attractions. I have a thing for heights.

21st bday celebration and anniversary

Over all it was a good hotel to stay in however it was far away from the main casinos on the strip. If you choose to say in this hotel it's better to get a taxi to take you into the strip or drive and park in a hotel. The only thing bad for us was that our room had water leaking we had noticed a bubble in our restroom when we got there but didn't mind it so much but then we noticed it was leaking water by the door and our clothes hanging got wet. So we had to do a room change couple days before we left and the room we got moved into made a lot of noice.

Good value on the strip

Nice big clean rooms good value but a bit far north of the action, far walk to the main part of the strip or expensive cab ride.
