When Italian cuisine strikes your fancy, Don Vito's is the place to whet your appetite. Our culinary team starts with the freshest ingredients and transforms them into traditional favorites Don Vito's regulars rave about. Start with a Caprese style salad of ripe tomatoes, fresh basil and mozzarella Chef Angelo makes by hand. Next, on to homemade gnocchi or ravioli, two other local favorites. Savory soups, freshly baked breads, seafood flown in daily, and a wide variety of Italian desserts are showcased in this stylishly appointed specialty room. Attentive and accommodating service will make your pre-show dinner, special occasion, or night on the town an even more memorable experience.
Primarily Prime Rib
Away from the hustle and bustle of the casino on the mezzanine is South Point's newest restaurant addition, Primarily Prime Rib. Catering to hearty appetites, the menu features four flavorful prime rib cuts, dry aged to ensure tenderness, seasoned and slowly roasted. Other dishes aim to please all palates, including comfort foods like chicken and dumplings and sophisticated creations such as sesame crusted sea bass. Sip on a signature cocktail, sit back and relax as your favorite prime rib cut is prepared to your liking by our culinary staff.

Great experience!

This was my first time staying at this hotel and I will definitely be staying here again. It is a drive away from the strip, but otherwise worth it.

I visit Vegas quite a bit and the Southpointcasino is my favorite place to stay. Rooms are always clean and comfortable and their sports book area is very roomy with plenty of TVs. I usually have a car so the distance from the strip is not an issue. Room rates are usually very reasonable even with the $14 per night resort fee.

Not bad for the price

I stayed here for Labor day weekend, and it was better than what I expected. My only complaint was that our room literally facing a wall, so there was no view whatsoever. Besides that, the rooms are very nice, quiet, clean and spacious. It was a great way to escape from the crowd, while still being only about 10 minutes from the Las Vegas strip. However, this is more of a family hotel. If you are with your family, or if you are looking for an older crowd, then this hotel is perfect. The older crowd/senior citizens did not bother me. It was very quiet and relaxing. Also, the movie theater and the spa are worth visiting.

keep the cocktails

Even though, we were only a block away from the strip, I didn't realize we were so far down. We had a rental so it gave us something more to do. Great idea with everything inside the hotel. Every thing was fine. Just one cocktail waitress by the name of Elena or Helena was not a good waiter and had a nasty attitude. She killed my spirits that night and I will never forget her and how upset she had me. My husband and I were bringing more couples back with us next year and hopefully make this an annual thing while we're still young. However, we will not be coming back to this hotel because I want to enjoy my vacation not get in an argument with a cocktail waitress.
