Sam's Town...a good value!
We stayed one night on our way out of Vegas, so we didn't get much chance to see all that this property had to offer. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We got a great rate- less than $50, so I can't complain about the lack of free wi-fi or lack of in-room coffee maker. It was a fast trip to the airport the next morning, and we loved not having to deal with all the chaos and crowds of properties closer to the strip when trying to leave town. I'd definitely stay here again! One word of warning- this property is huge and we had to drive around quite a bit to find the hotel entrance. We took advantage of the 15 minute 'hotel check-in' parking there so the front desk could give us a map and advise us where to park!

nothing bad to say
Yes it is off the strip but free shuttle to the strip if you need it. The regular rooms are great so I see no need to upgrade. The lobby area was wonderfull with running water and nature sound. The casino was very clean and even the smoking areas were so well ventilated we non smokers could play anywhere. I recommend the place for anyone.

For the same price I will go to other hotel in Las Vegas
This was my second time in this hotel. I was expecting better services. The front desk long wait and not helpful, no very nice either. The check in take more than ONE HOUR!!! the room was average the TV 19 inches and the cartoons was pay preview!! No free internet either. The best in this hotel was the buffet restaurant and TGI Friday. The show was out until September 4th. No laser show for us ( I have 2 kids) and the shuttle from/ to Las Vegas finished at 9:00 PM. I don't come back next time I will go near the action is for the same price. I am very disappoint.

Spent one night on our way to Yellowstone. Also visited with my daughter who lives close by. Room was clean and spacious. No problems. Food was inexpensive and good, cheaper if you signed up for there frequent gambler plan. Will stay there again if on one nighter. Much quieter than the strip/downtown. free self-park No free WIFI-Boo!

Impressed
I enjoyed their buffet and other eating establishments located inside the casino. The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious. Employees were friendly and wonderful. I was really impressed with the quality of the room for the price that I paid. The only other thing that would've made the stay better would have been a 24hr pool and poolside bar.

Great value, cozy hotel
We stayed two nights but noted most people stayed longer. Another couple had been there for 5 nights. Family oriented, older crowd. We really liked the " bubbling brook and trees of the Mystic Falls Indoor Park", it makes you feel out in the wilderness with the waterfall, the animals, etc... at night very pretty too. The room was a good size, room temp easy to adjust, king bed, clean and had the essentials plus some other hotels at this value won't i.e. refrigerator, coffee machine, hair dryer, iron, i-phone/i-pod docking station-radio-charger. Only thing we wished was different was the smell of smoking in the casino that as you enter the hotel to go to the registration desk, it's unavoidable. The distance from the strip can be a problem for those without a car. It takes 15-20 min with traffic to get there, 7miles aprox. There's the small food court (Sbarro, McDonnalds, Panda Express, etc), the 18 screens/movie theater and the bowling alley that is conveniently located inside the casino.
