Best Convention and Strip Location. Great for business and pleasure. Voted "Best Live Music Venue" Events, Parties, DJs, Indie, Rock and EDM.
Fabulously funky, fun and surreal. The Royal House is a refreshingly eccentric mix of cool indie vibe and quirky creativity meets authentic Vegas lifestyle. The unique areas of the Royal House blend together to create a shabby-chic boutique hotel ambiance. A gilded pool table and art deco shuffleboard, designed by Olhausen exclusively for The Royal, provides the perfect atmosphere to get your game on. All this and located directly between the World Famous Strip and Las Vegas Convention Center .

When getting to or leaving the hotel, I find it faster to take Paradise road rather than the strip.

Single; Experiencing the Strip
Overall value and location of the hotel is ideal for anyone wanting the Las Vegas strip experience. Purchase a bus pass off the strip, which is a relatively close walk to the hotel and much cheaper, and you can get just about anywhere.

Great location, great value!
I had my doubts since I'd never heard of The Royal House. But looking at the pictures online and the price I gave it a shot. I'm glad I did! It has a great location right around the corner from the Strip. Access to the strip is as simple as a 5 min walk from the hotel. Directly across the street is a Walgreens and Ross which is fine. The room I had was great, not too fancy, but it was a King size bed with a view of both the my car in the parking lot and the rest of the strip. If you bring comfortable shoes, you can walk the extent of the strip from Circus Circus/stratosphere at the top down as far as you like. Maybe you'd like to take a cab back, or the tram, or walk it out. The choice is yours. It's not so busy as the lobbies of other hotels, but there is definitely a good looking night life happening there with complimentary valet service.

Best for budget travel
Artistically charming boutique hotel, without the hyper glitz and glamour. Away from the noise. A quiet little retreat to recharge at, or if you are not all about the strip, you arent even aware that you are near that scene, except for the view from your window and a couple of unnoticible slots in the bar. Very clean and comfortable. The in-room mini fridge and coffee maker were extra nice amenities to have for the budget traveler. The concierge and front desk staff were the only disappointments in my stay. (the bartender and housekeeping was suoer friendly) Management and front end has a long way to go in customer service, ie: courtesy and friendliness, but everything else was so exceptional for the money, that I could deal with it and definitely book here again. 24 hr Walgreens accross the street for any little incidental I needed, and the 24 hr strip bus, just a block away, topped off the experience, as a perfect choice for the budget traveler!

Short walk from hotel
City bus goes to airport and is much cheaper than a shuttle bus or cab. (it doesnt load near the shuttles and cabs, so ask where to board) It was 2 bucks for a one way. I picked it up on flamingo and went direct to airport. It is 3 bucks for two hours, if you need to make connections. Five dollars all day. *The deuce, for the strip, is 6 dollars for two hrs and 8 dollars for 24 hrs.
