Fabulously funky, fun and surreal. The Royal House is a refreshingly eccentric mix of cool indie vibe and quirky creativity meets authentic Vegas lifestyle. The unique areas of the Royal House blend together to create a shabby-chic boutique hotel ambiance. A gilded pool table and art deco shuffleboard, designed by Olhausen exclusively for The Royal, provides the perfect atmosphere to get your game on. If you want to channel your inner Liberace, a 70s inspired artwork painted on a baby grand piano will encourage this.

Great value, close to convention center

No glitz, but clean, comfortable and budget oriented. Close enough to walk to convention center (10 mins). No casino, which was fine, because it was quiet after a day of the other. Only issue is not well known, and cabbies don't know it by name. Also a little long to hail a cab, but no big deal. Would stay again when attending something at the convention center.

Royal Resort - Close to the strip, close to the airport

Staff was very nice, front desk was very helpful in giving directions. Nice change, no casino in house. Airport is down the street 15 minutes away. Close to the beginning of the strip.

Everything was ok. Loud neighbors. someone called security on them. I actually told the front desk about the noise. They just blew it off. The next day is when I heard security in the hallway.

If you are in your 20's...

This might be the place to be. The room was comfortable, view was nice but the pool parties were overwhelming. Very loud. We were on the 8th (top) floor and couldn't even hear the TV due to the bump and thump of the music at the pool. LOT's of young people hanging out enjoying themselves all weekend. The desk staff at check-in was great. At check out on Sunday it was a different staff and they weren't friendily at all. The manager was rude people in frount of guests. Good value but I don't think I will be staying here again.

Perfect!

I was in Las Vegas working for two weeks. The Royal was perfect. Affordable. Clean, quiet, and no casinowith the associated stench. The staff was great, plenty of parking with security. I have a two year contract in Vegas and I will be staying at the Royal when I am in town.

older but good enough

Great place to stay if you're looking to get away from the big crowds on the main part of the strip. Good enough just for sleeping and showering...nothing fancy.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

We drove on paradise rd (south of las Vegas Blvd) to get to the different hotels, avoiding the traffic on the strip
