Didn't like having to walk through a poorly ventilated smoke-filled hotel to get to rooms. Restaurants were mostly open air and smoke-filled as well. Had to get moved because the heat didn't work. It was cheap, but you paid on the comfort side.

Buy at a discount and receive the discount rooms!
One rooms window was the inner roof of the casino, looked really scarey, if you climbed out of the window, you would have been in the steel rafters and ac vents, nice view! Mold in the bathrooms, tubs would not drain, bad odor, cat, very dated, 1980's. The other room overlooked a roof top with items tossed onto it, bottles, dinners plate covers, serving tray, clothing and no view of anything other than stopped construction next store. I'm sure not all the rooms in this hotel were like this, but maybe these are the rooms held for discount companies. Rooms 311 and 343.

Great value and close to theLasVegas Convention Center
Without a doubt, the Riveira could use some sprucing up, but it isn't bad! If you have business at the Las Vegas Convention Center you can't do better than the Riviera for location and value. My room was comfortable and clean. I will patronize the Riviera again.

ESP Seminar Stay
Hotel front desk staff was friendly but overall hotel situation wasn't too inviting... Hotel was really dated even though they said it was renovated, with overall carpet looking like it needs cleaning or completely replaced and elevators need some interior overhaul... I had problem with housekeeping also... they came once to clean and restock within the 5 days we stayed in the hotel. We always had to call to get our room cleaned and restock towels, other times they won't even come even after we called. One time they knocked, we asked to give us 5 min to get situated but the housekeeping lady said annoyingly, she was about to leave to go home...5 min and can't wait?! wow!!! I don't think I'll be coming back to stay here again... not worth the savings...
