Nice vacation getaway
Nice, but far very from monorail. Needs updating. It's at the end of the strip where no one really goes anymore. Need to do something to bring the crowd back.

Wasn't bad for a last minute decision to go. The Buffett had a champagne brunch on Sunday Monday that was well worth the value.

Positive experience
Although at the far (north) end of the strip, my first time experience at the Riviera was great and I would gladly go back. The hotel room was clean, comfortable and inexpensive. It's a lot of walking if you want to see the strip, so I suggest getting an all day bus pass.

Nothing deluxe about our room!
Booked 2 deluxe rooms for 2 nights, not sure what what was meant to be deluxe...had old TVs, dated and wonky furniture, dirty toilet, shower and bathroom, no working safe.... Would not stay here again at all, I've stayed in a travel lodge in Vegas which was better... This was for a 30th birthday too... Total let down!

Great Hotel, Amazing price!
The room was awesome value for a low price. Bus stop is right in front of hotel. The only down side is it's farther north from all the action and a good walk to south of the strip. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Time-saving tip:
Long walk from hotel
Get a bus ticket they are only $8/day and will take you from Mandalay Bay to Freemont Street downtown and anywhere between on the strip otherwise you will be doing a lot of walking.

Get what you pay for!
Since the room was one of the cheapest I wasn't expecting much. It was clean and a good sized room. The hotel is a little far from the "action" of the strip, but the hotel staff was wonderful!
