First trip to Vegas

The Riviera is definately bare bones when you dont book a more expensive room. No refrigerator, no microwave and no screen in a window that opens. Light bulbs were burned out and there were hairs in our towels that were supposedly ready to use. Pretty ghetto.

Good Value

Right off the bat, at check in, they tried to upsell to a supposedly better room at $15 more per night, but after a little discussion, offered the same room at the same price as when booked. After a recent remodeling the hotel itself is very clean and easy to get around. The rooms are clean and very well equipped with a mini frig and the beds and pillows are very soft and comfortable. Over all enjoyed the stay and will stay there again.

$100 security deposiy required

I was aware of the $15 resort fee, but it would have been nice to know I needed a $100 security deposit. Most hotels ask for a credit card for incidental but I've never had to put a hold of $100. The front desk staff was fast but the first lady that helped me was rude when letting me know about the $100 security deposit. Other than that, it's your average low budget Vegas hotel. I wouldn't recommend staying here. There's plenty of hotels on the strip for the same price AMD without a $100 security deposit.

Great value for your money!

We got there and the front desk guy told us the wrong tower!, but we ask a janitor and he walked with us all the way to the right tower! The room was nice, we did not chose the newly renovated room. Just a simple non smoking room! There is a duece transit stop right outside the hotel which is perfect on your way back to the hotel:) another transit across the street too, going to other way to the strip! If you stay here deff go to the peppermill next door, it is so yummy! Great times!

Vegas is back!!

Centrally located and very nice hotel with big clean comfortable rooms. Only issue is the "resort fee" which is $15 a day for no benefit; you can get free coffee and free newspapers for this fee which is a required cost.

Excellent location, price and amenities

We did not expected the quality of service, this was a great selection (my wife is happy, I'm very happy...). The room is a beat small, but very clean and not too old, new plasma TV and comfort mattresses. perfect selection for family. And the best: the price. Thanks for the offer.
