I'm here to tell you the Riviera Hotel and Casino is the quality of a five-star location. From the first person you meet at check in, to the time you leave everyone is smiling. The Riviera's management has found the proper mix personnel. Like Caesar a security guard who helped me find my way through the casino to the check-in desk, highly personable. Also Victorino who was at the check-in desk and was a pleasure to meet. I was in awe of the hotel room( a bit small but nice all the same). One of the best points of the room was a fridge, which makes it easier for people like me who have diabetes. The bathroom at the best shower I've ever had in hotel. In the mirror that defogs itself so very cool. Housekeeping kept the room immaculate the whole time I was there. I just can't say enough good things about the Riviera Hotel and Casino. I visited the R buffet a couple of times( once for breakfast, once for supper)and was not disappointed at all. The hostesses and waitresses were all first rate personnel.I can't say enough good things about the Riviera Hotel and its staff. Everyone I came in contact with seem to be happy at their work.

Short stay
We stayed only 2 nights. Barely enough to find our way from hotel to parking garage etc. Very good room. Clean. Small room but adequate. Good shower and adequate towels.

very family frendly.
The Riviera Hotel at las vegas, was very comfortable, the rooms were ok. The bathroom was nice, with the exeption that the sink has no counter and that was the only think that I really didn't like it. Over all , every thing was great and I will recomend to everybody. That's a plus for family's with kids.

I really can't say ...
I really can't say anything bad about the Riviera! The room was adequate for the price I spent and they had very comfortable beds along with a Plasma screen television. The Casino is above average for an older part of Las Vegas. All in all, The Riviera is a nice throwback to the way Vegas was, and I for one hope it won't be going away anytime soon.

Very Relaxing
The strip was super crowded for New Years. Our hotel room was our sanctuary for 4 days. The Riviera was nice. All the staff was super nice and we enjoyed our time there emensily. We definitely will stay there again. The only thing I wish the hotel had was an indoor pool. It was amazing time to be in Vegas. I would suggest the Riviera to anyone going to Las Vegas. Thank you Riviera staff!!!!!

Great place for a great price
We have been travelling from LA to San Diego to Vegas and of all Riviera was the best. We plan to visit here on our next trip too

Can't Beat The Price
This was our first time to stay at the Riviera and we were VERY impressed! We stayed in the newly renovated wing of this hotel and were pleasantly surprised with a flat-screen television, fluffy down comforter and iPod docking alarm clock! The location was perfect and we felt very safe walking around the area, even in the wee hours of the morning. It's also a comfortable walk to the bigger hotels on the strip. We didn't even end up needing to buy a bus pass. I will definitely stay at the Riviera again... you absolutely cannot beat the price! Perfect place to stay for a quick Vegas weekend getaway.

Surprisingly good
We were pleasantly surprised by the updated rooms. The only thing that threw us off is that we checked in after 4pm and no more double beds were available, just king size beds. They were able to provide cots, but if this had been a group of friends that might have been awkward (we were traveling with family). Anyway, we didn't eat at any of the restaurants on site so we can't vouch for those. It's at the very northern part of the strip, so it's a trek from the main strip, but otherwise it was great. Limits at the casino tables are low, so my brothers enjoyed that.
