Riviera Hotel and Casino

The Riviera holds an international pool tournament every year that I have attended for the last 5 years in a row. Every year the customer service at the check-in and check-out level has gotten more rude and abrupt. This year was no exception to the rule. If you request any help or type of treatment that's outside the normal, don't expect it no matter how deep your pockets are. One example of this was that I had enough player club points to buy a suite for a month, and I barely got a discount on the regular rate. Another example was when the room service waiter requested $38.00 for the $36.95 meal he delivered, that I was going to give $41.00 for anyway. As an ex server myself, I don't appreciate being told how to tip. Other example of this kind of treatment are abound. Next year, I'll stay at a nicer hotel that's close and rent a car. Housekeeping staff was very friendly though.

The hotel was decent, not wonderful but a good value for what we paid. The staff was very attentive, and the room was clean. The casino had a nice atmosphere and was not over crowded at all. Kady's Cafe was surprisingly good. We would stay here again.

The only thing what we did in the hotel is sleeping during the morning after night life. The hotel is cheap enough and we got everything what we wanted from it: a nice clean quiet room. Advise: don't take nothern tower, as there is a construction right after it and a view from a room is not very fabulous.

Good hotel just if you are traveling single. Staff was very informative and nice

I really enjoyed my stay at the Riviera. The location of the hotel was 15 min in walking distance from the middle of the strips main attractions. There are many suttles avaliable to transport you from the various location on the strip. The rooms are very large with comfy beds. I really enjoyed my stay.

I didn't do much at the hotel, had to go outside for entertainment. It would have been better if there was more to do in terms of entertainment. Didn't cater much to a young crowd. However the staff were a little friendly which made the stay a little better. The food at the buffet was not bad as well.

I looked for a bargain deal in Vegas and not for one of the fancy new resort hotels. I arrived at the Riviera and to be honest when entering the Casino it was almost like a step back in time to the good old 70's. The rooms seemed to be recently refurbished. Everything was in a good shape, comfortable bed, clean carpet and spotless bathroom. What to expect more? Ok, didn't get the requested late checkout nor did the clientele match my preference but to be honest I exactly got what I paid for. A good price for a clean room.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Unfortunately, there was no refrigerator in the room, and the ice machine on the floor couldn't keep up with the customers' needs. But it was Memorial Day weekend! Overall, a nice experience!

I had a great time while were staying there. I was in pool in daytime, gamble at night. The only bad thing is location. It is very far from Bellagio.

I absolutely loved the king size bed room; it was very comfortable and modern for the price. I would recomend ladies to bring walking shoes cause the location is in the middle of the strip. The staff and the crowd is older people. But overall I would stay there again because it beats staying at an expensive hotel when the rooms look the same...that way you have more for fun and games.
