Voodoo in the air at this Off-Strip Carnival, starring Penn & Teller
What began at Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino as a tribute to South America's Carnival has expanded to a full off-Strip resort with many assets. Rooms in two towers are all suite-sized with plenty of space to party. Entertainment includes the legendary Penn & Teller magic duo, the sexy "Show In the Sky" parade, Chippendales male revue, DJs at the rooftop VooDoo Lounge and revolving acts at the Crown Theater. The seasonal VooDoo beach includes several pools, a waterfall and sandy beach, flair bartenders and cabanas (fees apply).

- Every room is a suite at the Rio! - Pet Stay Room
- A special room for those traveling with four-footed friends! Please note that dogs must weigh 50 pounds or less each and be present at the time of check- in. Up to 2 dogs per room are allowed. Dogs are permitted to walk through designated common areas while on a leash and accompanied by the owner. Check in time for PetStay rooms is 4pm; dog owners must be prepared to accommodate your dogs until your room is ready. Dogs are the only animals allowed under the PetStay program. Dogs must be kenneled or out of the room during housekeeping. Economical place to stay near the strip
Not on the strip, but a good price and a short ride away. Large and clean rooms plus a great buffet.

Nice clean place
It is a nice place,but not on the strip had to take a lot of buses and a lot of walking to get around.It was a little fancy and expensive for me.I would stay downtown next time.

Girls night out
Great Hotel for a cheap price it's 6 minutes drive to the strip .The hotel provides shuttles to the strip so you don't have to get a taxi unless your in a rush then I recommend to get a taxi

Las Vegas Winter Getaway
Overall an enjoyable minivacation, although would now choose to stay downtown knowing what I now know. This was my first visit to Las Vegas, and thought paying a little extra for a "nicer" room would provide a bit of luxury. However, the room was ordinary at best. Size was nice, did have a small sitting area and personal refrigerator. However, was found to be dirty with dust on most objects and obvious tooth paste on bathroom walls. Bed was comfortable and staff acceptable. A small microwave would have been appreciated, but was not there. I suspect the lack of a microwave is the resorts desire to have you buy their very expensive food for days on end. The seafood buffet offered was $50/person and an offer I declined, especially after seeing the quality of the food on the buffet did not meet that price for quality. Next visit I will pay far less and stay downtown. There are several nice places to stay there as well and the overall experience would be preferable, as well as food priced more modestly.

The room was large and clean with a nice view of the mountains. The beds were comfortable. There were 2 sinks which were nice since there were 4 of us women getting ready at the same time. A K-cup type coffee pot is provided but you have to pay $8 for 3 K-cups from the mini bar if you want coffee. Fortunately I read reviews before going so I brought my own. We were out of our room until late in the evening and when we returned it had not been cleaned or restocked. They sent up new towels and chipped in a couple coffees for our inconvenience. Our safe would not work the shole time we were there (4 nights). We called for serice but we would have to remain in our room until someone was available. We didn't want to waste our time in our room so didn't use the safe which made us uncomfortable. The coffee shop is only open until 1 PM so if you want breakfast after that you have to go to another hotel. Although it wasn't horrid we won't stay here again. Have stayed in many other hotels in Vegas around the same price and had better service.

Very nice hotel, loved room,not much close to hotel, meal cost too high $30.00 dinner- went to hotel next door $13.00 for dinner. Chech in line too long- didn't add enough staff to get people in- took 45 minutes to check in.
