The original Cafe Martorano in Florida is widely known for both its celebrity clientele and its South Philadelphia-style Italian-American cuisine. And now the homemade meatballs, the cheesesteak and everything else can be found in Rio's Masquerade Village, in a venue twice the size of the Florida location - but the mood and attitude are still strictly Martorano, and smokin' hot!
Voodoo Steak & Lounge at The Rio
Situated high above Las Vegas on the 50th and 51st floors of the Rios Masquerade Tower, alive with mystical sights, sounds, and flavors, the Voodoo Steak & Lounge at The Rio combines a quality steakhouse, live performance artists and DJs in the lounge, and the views from the outdoor double-decker nightclub. See Vegas from our point of view!

Aged, run down and poor value

Remembered this hotel positively from years past and thought we'd try it instead of the strip. What a mistake. The room was old and dirty. Carpet was stained in several areas and appointments were wore and dated. The bathroom had seen better days showed signs of wear and mold as well as poor cleanliness. The snack bar and coffee shops were expensive and mediocre in quality. My wife and I each ordered omelets ( omelet, potato and toast-- no meat) the cost was over $32 dollars and quality average. Hourly stage entertainment in the common area no longer exists. Hotel wanted $5 to print airline boarding passes (which are free at the airport). The pool area also was dated. Won't be staying here again.

In a pinch

Was left on runway during the giant rainstorm Aug 13th and ended up with delays that would have stranded us in Atlanta for the night. So we decided to book the next day instead which left us needing a room for the night. The Rio was fairly close to the Airport and it was a decent price so we decided to book there. Well the decent price isn't so decent with the 28.00 resort fee. The first room they gave us wasn't made up so I had to trudge back to the front desk for a new one. The desk agent just gave me a sorry not my fault. We were in the newer (less old) of the 2 towers. I believe it opened in 1993 and the décor is still early 90's. The rooms are indeed in need of a facelift (as are most Total Rewards properties it seems). The casino area is not bad but this may be the only casino in Vegas that doesn't have a 24 hour coffee shop/breakfast restaurant. Overall not bad but nothing special
