OK location, good for one night stay

Room was clean and decent for a one night stay. Location was not way off from Strip - good for one night stay. Value stay - had a refrigerator also, but don't expect too much . Place around seemed a bit spooky, but did see a few folks with families - overall good value place if you are travelling alone or want some place to rest for a night.

Not all red roofs are comparable...

I stayed at a Red Roof in in Phoenix the week earlier and was impressed. So, I figured I would try it in Vegas. WRONG. BAD. The beds were tiny, with my arms hanging off the sides and my feet off the end. I could not move without the bed squeaking and I could actually feel the individual springs of the mattress through the flimsy cover. The shower hardly put out any water and the drain was plugged. The front door wasn't even sealed on the bottom. At lights out you could actually see the lights of vegas shining on the floor. Not a happy customer.

Only reason to stay here is parking outside your door

a below average motel experience, but if you want your car outside your door, it's an option

A hidden gem. Seriously!

Vegas + Labor Day Weekend = $$$ on the Strip. We came in on a Saturday with a night booked at Red Roof. We were wary; staying at motels isn't anyone's first choice when visiting Vegas. Safe to say, we felt at home. The staff were friendly, funny, and attentive. The room came with a microwave, stove (no kidding), a clean bed, and spacious bathroom area. Stay here if you want to save money on lodging so you can spend more on food, entertainment and more when visiting Vegas.

Not too happy with the stay

Older hotel, great location. I had two rooms after the second day I noticed one room had roaches! Several on the bathroom floor one in my bed one in my luggage and a couple near the front door. I had spent $60 on groceries that had to be thrown out. I wanted to think it was an isolated incident but even after the staff relocated me (5am) from #239to another building second floor #104 I saw more roaches on the upstairs outside. The room in #104 had plumbing issues. Bath tub didn't drain so you stand in the shower ankle deep in the water. Beds are hard. Wifi didn't work. Pretty bad experience and I would not reccomend this hotel nor would I come back.

Fantastic Service and Accomidation

This was a very spacious room with all conveniences needed. (iron, refrig.,microwave etc.) This hotel was close enough to the strip to enjoy it without being on top of it. Family friendly.

Not bad

Stayed here to see Guns N Roses across the street at the Hard Rock Hotel. Room was pretty clean and loaded, considering how cheap the place was. It had a mini kitchen with sink, fridge, and microwave. Front desk staff were hard to understand and forgot to document the $22 I paid in cash to extend my checkout a couple hours, so housekeeping kept knocking on the door. Overall, it's a decent place for the $$.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There are a lot of restaurants that are a 2 minute walk down the street on the corner like Johnny Rockets, Subway, and also an upscale Italian and sushi restaurant.

a good place to sleep

Stayed for one night before setting out on a hiking trip to the Mojave and Death Valley. A clean, comfortable room, with all the basics. For some reason, they charge a $5 "resort fee" on top of the listed price. The continental breakfast is minimal.
