5 star resort ? yeah right

i found this upscale hotel timeshare [...] while looking for a place to stay. its pretty nice in some ways and a joke in others. the goal is to get you to buy a time share and then pay maintance fees . the salesperson they attached to me at 9:00 a.m. for the 3 hour sales presentation knew right away i was not going to buy anything. he asked me why did i take this sales show and i said to save $ 80.00 on the penn and teller show. he said its a 5 star resort and i say its a 2 star resort ( no golf course, no tennis court, no bowling alley ).its cheaper to rent then buy so dont buy . i just got into las vegas and they send the concierage service on you as soon you check in. futher more they say you get 2 free shows and 2 free dinners.. wrong its only 1 free show and 1 free dinner per person or a $ 75.00 credit card . the studio room is small and has paper thin walls. barely worth the $ 41.80 a night including tax . luckily i was uprgraded to a 1 bedroom for free the last 6 days i was there and defintly worth paying a little more because you get much more . i stayed 21 nights oct 5-26, 2010 . the pool was normally closed and so was the childs play area. there is no resturant but has a small store with coffee and bagels and other food .

Wonderful Time

I found the Polo Towers as a great location, close to the strip, but not in the middle of the choas. The timeshare is a nice difference to the big hotels with all the casinos inside. The room amenities and pool exceeded my expectations.

Nice Place

The location of the hotel was right on the strip. Not a far walk from anything on the strip. The room was very large and well outfitted!

polo towers was great we will stay again

We upgraded to a suite was fabulous! So spacious it was like a small apartment. The staff was all very friendly and helpful and was not pushy at all about buying into the time share. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The bathroom was huge and the roof top pool was nice just a bit small. It was peaceful and not smoke filled like some of the casinos. We will go back to Vegas and stay there again! It was perfect location right in the middle of the strip!

Fantastic location for the price

It was our honeymoon and we got a super large 1 bedroomed room with a fantastic view all down the strip. Best room I have ever had abroad. 2 TVs so large it needed a doorbell!! Fantastic. I cannot praise the Polo Towers Resort highly enough, everything was unbeatable especially for the price. Would visit again in a heartbeat. Reception staff very polite and friendly at all times and help in any way they can. The only down side was as we were there for 2 weeks the maid service was the worst ive eber had.

Decent Place

The room was nicely set up and we had a suite. The problem was the carpet smelled bad. I called the front desk and told them about it, but nothing was ever done. When I asked to be moved to another room, they kind of just talked about coming to check on it and possibly changing us to another room, but they never did move us. We just burned a candle and opened the windows to fight off the smell. Also, the pool was really small.
