Hotel clean! good service, location cannot be better. We had a standard room and it was large, bathroom huge! The only ... negative thing i have to say is that the gambling here was not as great as some of the other casino's, not a lot of people on the tables, etc. But they did give good comps if you gamble, we had more fun gambling at the Wynn and Venetian

When we arrived at Planet Hollywood to check in, we found out our room had been given away. We were in Vegas for a wedding ... with family coming in from all over the country and we did not have a room. The staff did find a room for us in a better hotel, but the damage was already done. As a preferred guest I assumed I would have a room, especially since I had made reservations 6 weeks in advance. The best part was when the rest of our family arrived later in the day, they were told they had their choice of rooms to pick from!!

Great hotel, fun atmosphere, great buffet, I would not recommend flying Delta had plane issues going and coming so we pretty ... much lost half a day. They are not what they use to be. Going through the week was awesome because there was a decent crowd but it was not too busy. You could actually enjoy and see the city.

Had a GREAT time!
Single Traveler Nov 13, 2009
It is amazing what they did with this spot on the Strip! What used to be an old, tired Aladdin is now the center of the ... action. The staff was super friendly, and though the gaming took ALL of my money, there is quite a variation to enjoy. Earl of Sandwich is great for when you don't want to spend a bundle on food. The buffet touts itself as "the best in Vegas," but I wasn't impressed. It was just OK. I really enjoyed my experience, and would go there again. I've already signed up for the Player's Card. Two things kept this stay from being less than perfect. One, I'm getting tired of specifically requesting a non-smoking room, and it being assumed that I'll take a smoking one. The front desk took care of this immediately, but why even try to do that? The other, more serious thing...room 1178 has some serious sewer drainage problems. My first room also smelled a bit like wet dog, and I wondered why that was. So I turned on the shower, and the sink gurgled. I drained the tub, and it backwashed into the shower! This smelled terrible, and I had to douse the bathroom with my cologne to negate it. I have to assume that this isn't a common problem, and that it will be taken care of quickly. This is really a great place for folks in their 20s/30s/early 40s. It's not much for the older or younger crowd, as there are girls dancing on stripper poles throughout the casino. They are always rated G (never nude), but some parents may not like it.

They have an entire mall IN the hotel itself, so you'll have plenty of shopping. Most of the stores are high end, so hopefully you don't lose too much gambling!

When we first arrived we did not get the guaranteed king upgrade because the hotel was full. The desk clerk just kept talking ... like robot. We were moved to a junior king suite the next day. It was a nicer room with a great view of the Bellagio fountains. All other hotel staff and services were fantastic.
