Girls Vacation!!!!
I came to Vegas with two friends and this was our first time visiting the city. The hotel was very nice and we even got to check in early. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and nice. I've never played roulette before and the dealer even explained how to play the game which was good for me because I ended up winning a little money. I was very impressed with hotel and I would stay here again.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
There is a day and night tour of the city which I recommend to anyone going to Vegas because you get to see the city differently. Besides gambling and going to the clubs it's just something different to do. You get a little history about the city which is interesting. You do have to walk a short distance to the Excalibur but it's worth it because it's only $20.00 and that's cheap. I also recommend people to take the night tour which is the best time to see the city.

Couple Getaway!
I loved the hotel and staff was very helpful and nice!! Great location on the strip and very great casino as well! Fun and energetic atmosphere!! Had a blast! If I could change anything about Planet Hollywood it would just be the price!! It isn't very expensive compared to others nearby but I wish it was just a little bit more affordable per room, only because I find myself spending a lot in the casino! However I don't plan on staying at any other hotel when I revisit Las Vegas so that being said you can form your own opinion!!!!

USED to be my "go-to" in Vegas
I have stayed at Planet Hollywood more times to count on 2 hands, going back to when it was the Aladdin. This was the worst visit I have experienced in Las Vegas. I travel to Vegas 2-4 times a year for work, and generally stay on the strip. The hotel really needs to update. Our shower had paint/wall cover coming off the wall and black mold growing in the drywall. Beds were arched to the middle and uncomfortable. There is now wall paper coming off the walls through out the hotel. I know times are tough all business, but I haven't seen this much neglect at other places in Vegas! The casino is the same as it has been for years...except that they are now under new ownership and their rewards program is a joke. I understand that I don't gamble the way I used to (I used have more in money in the bank as well) but most casinos will "comp" you some cigarettes or a cigar when you are betting $50 a hand at blackjack for an hour or so. After playing for 4 hours while betting $100-$150 a hand I was told that I didn't have enough points. I traveled to a casino close by and found them to be much better, and I didn't have the years or built up "cred" with them. After years of considering Planet Hollywood/Aladdin my "go-to" hotel in Las Vegas for close to a decade, I will never stay there again!

I Shall Return
Arrived at 10:00 AM, way early for their stated 3:00 PM checkin time. Clerk instantly found a room clean at that time and up I went. Many LV hotel clerks will force you to wait or tell you how great a favor they are doing you in getting you into one of their (expensive) rooms. This lady was quick and very happy to please. Room was nice size, quiet, with a widescreen TV. Plenty of restaurants - their coffee shop produced the best chicken marsala I can remember. Car valet service was fast. Checkout a breeze. I paid average room price PLUS there is no phony "resort fee" that often comes as an undisclosed surprise when one checks into a LV hotel.
