Pretty decent hotel
Ricardo Lembano Nov 20, 2009
The hotel is nice. It just seemed like the French words for everything and the French music was over the top. They tried hard ... to have a Paris theme, but it just felt superficial. Anyway the hallway to my room #641 had scraped up walls and a place where the drywall was obviously kicked in. The rooms were clean, but showed their age. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets felt great. Be prepared to be offered an upsell to the remodeled "Red Rooms" for a special of $40 extra/night(They said the upgrade was normally $100/night. Heck why spend $40 more/night when I was already paying approx $70 a night? why would I bump it up to $110/night? For that I could stay at Wynn or Bellagio with special offers I have received. The curtains in my room had disgusting stains across 5 feet or so. Expect to pay $14.99/day if you want Internet access.

Don't shop in the "convenience stores" inside the hotel. A 3 pack of Gillette disposable razors was $6.05. Do yourself a favor and walk South down the street to Walgreens and buy necessities including bottled water and save alot of $$$ so you can lose it in the Casino. If you want an outstanding sandwich go next door to Planet Hollywood and eat at Earl of Sandwich Deli for only $6.95.

We stayed there the second week of November. The hotel location and ammenities were excellent. We got an ugrade for a suite ... in front of the Eiffer Tower without asking for it. My wife found the toilet & tissue paper of poor quality. This is about the only negative remarks we can make. The breakfast buffet at Le Village oustanding.
Traveler type: Couples
We had dinner at TAO at the Venetian, expensive but the food is excellent. The 12 onz. kobe steak excellent but expensive for $88.00. The Blue Man Group show was a dissapointment for us. Disgusting in some occasions. Good for very young people.

Great rooms and Location
phil Nov 18, 2009
Paris is located very centrally on the strip near some of the newest properties. We stayed in the standard lowest-rate room. ... The room we stayed in was comfortable, with pleasant art and nice furniture. Certainly upscale from the average holiday inn, but certainly not luxurious. In addition to the bed, we had a desk and chair, two easy chairs, a coffee table, an armoire, and a settee. Our room was at the end of a hall and had windows on two sides with a partial view of the strip. We also had a single-cup coffee machine. Our friends stayed in the same rate room, but theirs was mid-hall with only one window facing away from the strip, no coffee machine, and only one easy chair instead of two (the rest of the furniture was the same). Two fairly minor complaints: 1) No free wi-fi. In this day and age, there is no excuse not to offer free wireless in an upscale hotel. Fortunately, this complaint is somewhat mitigated by the free wireless in the Coffee Bean just next door in the Miracle Mile shops. 2) The front desk staff we checked in with immediately tried to up-sell us to fancier rooms, but she never used the word upgrade. First, she asked if we wanted to stay in a suite, which we declined. Then, she asked if we wanted to stay in a room with a strip view and other amenities "for $55 a night". Confused (and exhausted having arrived early that morning), we thought we were being offered a great deal, and only realized we'd been up-sold when we were walking to our room. We went back to the front desk, and they happily gave us the original rate room we'd reserved. I should note that the front desk staff our friends checked in with didn't attempt to up-sell them at all.

If you only need occasional internet access, save $15 a day by using the free wireless at the Coffee Bean shop in the Miracle Mile shops right next store to Paris.

This was a great hotel with a great location. We are very sastified that we stayed at the Paris...my only big dissapointment ... was that the fitness facility was not available to guess free of charge...I was told that the fitness centre is open to the public and a fee of $25.00 per day is applied to everyone?

shows, dining, shopping. Found the hotel wasn't guest oriented, when I asked if there was a water bottle provided in the room, ... I was bluntly told "no, drink tap water". Too much cigarette smoking in the main level, no designated spots for smoking, hard on the eyes. Upon checking out we were accused of taking toothpaste pack and wanting to charge us over $5.00 for a sample pack without first checking to see if it had been used, which we hadn't touched.

Paris Las Vegas: Not the best!!!
Txman437 Nov 15, 2009
Room was not what we thought we booked. The first room smelled so bad we asked to move and we were told we couldn't. Even ... the towels were stained and the bathroom looked like it wasn't cleaned at all. We lit a candle we brought with us to make it through the night and the next morning I demanded a new room. That afternoon we were told one was available and the front desk lady was upset that we were treated poorly. We took the new room and the next morning when we opened the shower it smelled horribly. Then, when we were checking out we had to dispute our room charge. We were being charged for a $38 dollar bottle of vodka which we didn't drink. We were told, "If in fact, the bottle is there, you won't be charged." I will say housekeeping was the bright spot of the hotel. We needed some assistance our last night there and the housekeeper that was sent up was wonderful. We've stayed in Vegas over a dozen times and twice before at Paris Las Vegas. Never again will I book another room there. It's as though they've been on the strip so long they no longer care.

Perfect spot in the middle of the strip
anniversarytrip Nov 13, 2009
We came to Vegas for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Our first trip a few years ago was not so good. We stayed at Circus ... Circus, way too far away from everything. So we decided to pick a hotel in the middle of the strip. The hotel is nice. Staff was very friendly. Had an easy check in. I read a lot of reviews before going and was a little scared. Not a lot in the middle, either terrible or fantastic. I would say it was ok. The rooms are pretty dark. We had just the basic room and ended up switching rooms by our second night. Our bed was so hard. We moved from the 4th floor to the 32nd floor and stayed with the basic room. We did have a view of the Bellagio fountains so that was nice. The bed was a little more comfortable, not sure if we would have upgraded it would have had a nicer bed. I know I'm on vacation and the room is just a place to sleep for a few hours, but after all the walking you do in Vegas a little more comfortable bed would have been nice. The monorail was perfect. Only one hotel away and made it very nice since we dressed up one night and went to NY NY to see Zumanity. It took us to the MGM and we just had to walk across the bridge and we were at NY NY. The other thing that cracked me up about this room was it said it had a separate shower from the tub. I assumed it was a soaking tub... It's not. It's a bath tub... A little sad about that. Didn't have any problems with hot water at anytime of the day. So I would say this is an ok place to stay for the location. I would really think about upgrading to the Red Room or one of the suites if a half way comfortable bed is matters to you. But way better than Circus Circus.

We could hear other guests in the hallway out side our rooms. Very noisy. Lots of shouting, talking and banging of doors. ... Food prices were high. $28 for a breakfast of French toast, bacon, juice and coffee. Menues at other resturants in Hotel lacked imagination. Meat or fish dishes were all served with their version of fries. I've stayed at other Hotels, Casinos up and down the strip from Treasure Island to Mandalay Bay. Paris was about average.
