The City of Light shines with haute cuisine, romance and Manilow

Of all the themed casino resorts, Paris Las Vegas may be the most dedicated to its inspiration, complete with a half-scale replica Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, cobblestoned old Paris street, and other architectural tributes to the original City of Light. Guests can ride to the top of the Eiffel Tower for a romantic view from the observation deck. French-infused fare is served at many Paris restaurants, although alternatives include the gigantic Sugar Factory due to open in Spring 2011. Bally's Las Vegas resort is attached for added options.

Paris Fun & Spendy

Spent the three nights. Loved the setting, loved the decor, loved the location and the little cafe for breakfast. - Hotel staff pretty friendly, but did not feel overly special for our party of 10 staying in the hotel ie) staff dropped the ball on having a bottle of wine for my bride in the room for our anniversary. - Rental car was available in the hotel, but screwed up the charges...a $180 van rental hit me for $535. - Did not see many slot winners around - slots were tight ie) no one in our party would play in the casino the last two days. - Would not stay there for a group outing, is only good for a view on the strip and location.

Nothing fabulous in Paris

Paris is a beautiful hotel, but I didn't find anything wonderful about it. I stayed with my daughter and 13 year old granddaughter and we couldn't find a restaurant that we liked at the hotel. Not one of my favorite hotels in Vegas.

Great location, good room

We were staying in a "suite" with a great view to the tower and Bellagio's fountains across the street. I cared mostly about cheap Texas Holdem which I found in the neighboring Planet Hollywood. They also have a great shopping center there. So the location is definitely five-star. Although the room itself was spacey and nice, it was outdated. You can see wear on most of the furniture and the TVs are really old (non-flat tubes). The jacuzzi was not clean (we found a hair in it), but the cleaning personnel was quick and responsive to take care of that. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

We loved Mon Ami Gabi so much that we dined there twice during our 2 night stay. BEEF BOURGUIGNON and FILET MIGNON MERLOT were one of the best foods I ever tried.

Good location, and value

I have been at 11 different resorts in Las Vegas. The Paris is in a good location on the strip. Walking distance to most locations. The $45 multi resort 24 hour buffet was a good deal. You could select the resort and eat as much as you desire in a 24 hour period. The rooms were a value for the price good size and comfortable beds and furnishings. Not as nice as some of the others for a few dollars more but above average. TV was older tube type but I didn't go to Las Vegas to watch TV. There was no free WiFi and their phone rates are high, use your cell. The room was generaly clean but harder to get to areas were dirty, top of the armoire, above the mirrors. There was dust on the ceiling above the lights in the bathroom. No WiFi was the worst problem, generaly good overall. There are better values, I would go back but I would select other locations first.

Lovely romantic getaway

Hotel is beautiful! Clean rooms, great views from the upper floor we were on. Some guests were having an arguement in the hallway and it was loud, but that was the only pitfall. Just a lovely time with a good buffet that was superior to the Bellagio buffet. Could spend days alone walking thru the Paris Hotel and be entertained.

Just average

You're not going to get anything special here. The hotel provides a clean room that's good to rest after a night out in Vegas. The bathroom is a little small, the TV is not a flat screen, and there was not a coffee maker - these aren't deal breakers - just first world problems. If you want a decent priced place with little amenities and a great location - this is your hotel.
