Disappointment

Went to Vegas with a group of 25 girls. Booked the hotel 2 months before the trip. Called twice before going and confirmed that the hotel where [...]was suppose to have booked us never received our reservation. Called again 4 days before leaving and [...]assured they had sent everything to the hotel. Arrived at the Palms Place hotel at 10:30 pm, tired and had to go through what I was already expecting, no reservation at the hotel. At the check in they informed that the room type booked was fully booked and in order to stay at the same tower along with all the other girlfriends we were forced to pay an $50 in order for them to upgrade our room which they should have just upgraded us free of charge. Very upsetting as we had to go through this uncomfortable situation. [...]

Stay at the Strip, you end up paying so much for cab back and forth that in the end it's not worth it.

Excellent Stay

Love the size of the suite. The bed was comfortable and the shower is really cool. I've stayed here before mainly on business but if I happen to return for personal reasons/vacation, I would definitely love to stay here on a romantic getaway. All around a great stay!

I wouldn't recommend it

The Palms Place is OK, which is kind of a shame, as I was looking forward to a luxurious experience. The rooms seemed dirty (stains on the pillows and the walls), and very beaten up. My friends changed rooms three times, after their toilet stopped working. The room they finally ended up in was also full of broken objects, and ripped and stained furniture. After a few drinks and with dimmed lights everything seemed okay though!! If you're looking to party, we had a ton of fun at the Ghostbar, and Moon. With free cover for guests on weeknights. Also Ditch Fridays at the Palms Casino Pool was a really good time. Being off the strip was a bit of a pain, but not the end of the world, especially considering there's lot of good partying to be done right there. All together, it looks like it was a beautiful hotel a few years ago (I know things age quickly in Vegas), and I had a ton of fun staying there, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Ghostbar and Moon are a really fun, but go on weeknights (ask the front desk about free cover) AND do plenty of pre-drinking...$10 beers add up quick.

Definitely a party hotel for the

Definitely a party hotel for the younger crowd. I did enjoy it not being a part of the strip hotel string with the smoke fulled facilities.

Great place to stay period!

My wife and I along with our friends stayed here just for a fun trip to Vegas. We are younger, so of course we are wanted it to be a good time. The Staff was great, very friendly, the room was really nice and the bed was soo comfortable! The rom was comfortable and clean. The best part was the fact that it had a fridge and kitchen if you wanted to make your own drinks to avoid paying 10 bucks for the ones made at the bar. There is a free shuttle across the street that takes you to the strip so you can save money on the taxi services. Anyway, great time, I would for sure stay there again.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Walk across the street to the white hotel (forgot the name) for a free shuttle to the strip, and the grocery store and liquor store are not that far of a walk either, which both will save you money on drinks and food.

not very happy :(

After checking in to our room it was obvious it was not cleaned. The room was beautiful but dirty. After 45 min wait our room was switched it was a little better however not great. I stayed at the Palms last year the service was amazing and even though we had a standard room it was spotless and in a better location. The Palms Place was not what I expected. I will not stay there again.

VERY nice hotel! modern and updated...

I really liked the rooms and the whole design..very much my style and taste. Staff was helpful and very nice. Not a kid friendly place which was perfect for me not having kids and wanting more of a crowd people of my lifestyle. Pool was gorgeous. Only thing that bothered me that was I was not aware of was the $100 a night you had to have for your room for security and damages. You got it back when you checked out..but still the fact that I was mostly carrying cash on me and didn't bring a major credit card with such a balance on it..so that was a pain

Unbelievable Accomodations

The room was gorgeous! Exactly how it looked in the advertisement. The outstanding staff catered to your every need. Simon's restaurant was superb especially the Sunday brunch and the pool was fantastic. The only problem that I had is that the pool did close too early, 5pm other than that the hotel surpassed all my expectations and more!!

Very nice, clean, comfortable hotel

We were there for 2 nights in a studio style room complete with small kitchen. We really didn't use the kitchen but the room was very nice. We were on the 12th floor and had a pretty nice view. The bed was very comfortable! Only issues: they need NEW Remotes! They barely worked and were really frustrating to use. We had a tub with the jets but when I turned them on lint came out of them. Eww. We also didn't like how they charged us to use the internet. Other than that we liked it and would stay there again.
